In Astrology, Mercury represents your ability to think, study, use information ... and otherwise use your mind. Scorpio is an energy involved with investments, recycling, emergencies, and fundamental change. When Mercury is in Scorpio, ideas are intense and resourceful, but with Mercury in Scorpio there may be a secretiveness about them, because Mercury in Scorpio does not like to talk a lot or reveal everything it knows.

In Astrology, Venus represents your social self, the way you work with relationships, the responsive side of your romantic soul, and the way you handle money. Capricorn is an energy that supports self-discipline, organization, and correct behavior. Venus represents your power to attract love and conduct relationships; your need for money and pleasure; your involvement with income, possessions and material "things:" what you look for in relationships, what you offer another person as a partner; what you really enjoy and take pleasure in, and your abstract "values."

They emphasize qualities such as dignity, organization, persistence, stability, self-control, and meeting responsibilities in the methods they use to attract love -- and express the romantic side of their natures in gestures that are discreet, economical, circumspect, reserved, and "tried and true" reliable. They are more interested in things like "durability," status, prestige, attending to duty, tenacity, and "being realistic" -- than in "hearts and flowers."

A sextile is an angle of 60¦deg; between two or more planets. Sextiles represent opportunities for the energy of one planet placement to make agreeable use of the energy of another planet placement -- in a kind of "mutual back-scratching" arrangement.
