When Venus is in Virgo, attitudes are rational, discriminating, and practical, especially regarding relationships. This is not exactly the stuff of moonlight and roses ... and so in matters of the heart, Virgo energy has a distinctly "unromantic" reputation. People emphasize qualities such as being versatile, efficient, industrious, meticulous, and helpful. They want very much to be "of service" in their associations, and emphasize "doing a good job" in the chores, favors, and "work" they do for others. This is how they try to attract the love and appreciation they want.

When Venus is in Virgo, people are looking to "earn" or "deserve" love and rewarding relationships, so there is a scrupulous, analytical, "fussy," quality to the way they express themselves -- and their "romantic feelings." They may also use money in ways that are serviceable, efficient, pragmatic, and sensible -- and they'll value possessions for these same reasons. (Spending money to get the carpets cleaned ... or buy that direct-from-the-household-plug battery charger for the car may seem like an odd romantic gift to some folks ... but Venus in Virgo thinks those are swell ideas!)

Folks may also pay unusual attention to details, and appreciate "the little things" that make life more comfortable and pleasant. Again, it's not the stuff of great romance, but Venus in Virgo shows love by doing the kind of work that really doesn't get noticed -- until it doesn't get done. (Or until you need that battery charger on a frigid winter morning with snow on the ground up to your knees.)
