The fly in the ointment, however, is the fact that Mars is also now locked into a position of mutual irritation in the ongoing stresses between Saturn and Pluto. By itself the Saturn / Pluto opposition is a fight-to-the-death confrontation between traditional ideas, "common knowledge," and "the voice of authority -- the province of Saturn in Gemini ... and revolutionary "foreign information," a complete revamping of large scale social ethics, and the inevitable arrival of a much-improved philosophy of life -- the ingredients of Pluto in Sagittarius.
