Life's focus for everyone now is on expansion ... especially in ways that provide further education, add to your overall wisdom and give you more professional authority and prestige. You are examining the "rules you live by" ... and building a more liberal philosophy of life. You are more tolerant of foreign ideas and views -- and may find ways to adopt them as your own.

Ethics, generosity, charity, benevolence, and sharing are in the spotlight. It may be no accident that the bountiful holiday season of two major religions occur this time of year. Optimism is in the air, as alluring promises and possibilities beyond the New Year's horizon beckon. Having pared down, improved, and weeded out the dead wood in your life during Scorpio's tenure, you are ready for ideas, situations, relationships, goals, and operating systems you believe will serve you better on the voyage ahead.

Teaching and learning are on tap -- even if the teaching is "by example" and the learning comes from watching the world around you. Those interested in more formal teaching will find new avenues to pursue in these next four weeks. Those who write and publish can hardly contain all the new ideas and possibilities pelting us -- with typical Sagittarius' generosity.

So -- figure out where your bliss and your treasure lie in the months ahead and set out to claim them. Taking risks and finding adventure are strong elements of Sagittarius energy, and the time to get started is now.

• You're really in the mood to work with your mind, broaden your intellectual horizons and deepen your expertise in some special fields of interest!! The chance to grow and become more than you are will be more and more an urgent calling as the year comes to a close -- and once we get past all the fuss and folderol of the holidays, you'll be ready to feed your mind a banquet of goodies every bit as rich and scrumptious as all the seasonal treats you'll much down between now and New Years.

• As soon as you stop cringing at the pile of work you've cut out for yourself with the extensive plans you're hammering together, you'll see how exciting all these possibilities are. The journeys of the mind that beckon will show you opportunities you'll just have to wedge into your agenda somehow, because a substantial change in your professional life -- and the authority you want to claim -- is putting down roots and will be a major theme over the next dozen years.

• The temptation to act on impulse several times in the next few weeks may be too much to ignore -- particularly if you're fed up to here with limitations, restrictions, not enough privacy, not enough freedom to be yourself, not enough opportunity to nourish your spiritual center and creative soul. The push-push-push to be more authentically yourself gets a big boost this month, with all this optimism in the air and the natural "break" in the calendar from this year to the next adding psychological fuel to your ambitions.

• A shift in partnership focus ... and the kind of assets you want partners to provide ... gains momentum this month. This may mean replacing relationships that aren't working or have outlived their usefulness. It may also invite you to resurrect some associations, connections, or other resources you thought were history -- but which are surprisingly useful again ... now that you see the world through new eyes. Partners can contribute lots of raw materials (like money, talent, suggestions, labor) to your investments. You don't have to do everything yourself -- for a change.

• Foundations need a lot of attention ... the foundations for the "new you" that's ready to debut, in your private life, and in your living arrangements. You'll have to devote extra time and care to family members, put extra effort into accommodations, repairs, or improvements at home, and still find time to do the self-care and planning this new leg of your life journey lacks.

• This may involve work you thought was already done -- but which is either inadequate or in dire need of a new focus. So it may be hard to handle the impatience of feeling you're covering "old ground" again (especially if it wasn't that thrilling the first time through) ... and the instability of wondering if you're still spinning your wheels. That question may really grind at you -- because it will be May or so before you can answer it for sure!
