As always, you'll need to avoid starting anything important when the Moon is void of course, but going with the flow of celestial currents in the daily tasks and chores you have to get done as a regular part of life brings that extra boost of help we all can use with a sigh of relief ... and thanks.

So, get yourself an astrological calendar. (My hands-down favorite is Jim Maynard's Pocket Astrologer.) And keep track of the Moon's position in the signs as it travels through the Zodiac each month. It creates a rhythm that is efficient, natural and often oh-so-welcome -- especially when you face a myriad of options and are wondering what on earth to do next. If you're like me, anything that helps you plow through your To-Do list faster or more successfully is a trick-of-the-trade worth trying.

Especially on the days when the Moon changes signs, aligning the most compatible elements of your day with the prevailing Moon energy while it is available can make a surprising difference in how the chores, tasks and routines get crossed off your agenda -- leaving your more time to do something fun. Unlike the Sun, Moon or other planets in a Natal Horoscope, the Moon's Nodes are not physical entities. They are theoretical, conceptual points in celestial longitude where the Moon crosses over the ecliptic -- the path of the Sun. There are two nodes of the Moon, the North node and the South node. The nodes in a Natal Chart are always directly opposite one another by sign, degree and house placement. Their motion is normally retrograde, approximately one degree every 19 days. The placement of the Nodes shows a relationship between the Moon, the Earth and the Sun. Eclipses are calculated by the movement of the nodal axis.
