The Moon is the astrological metaphor which symbolizes an individual's inner, feeling-based personality. The Moon travels through the entire Zodiac every month, changing signs roughly every two and a half days.

The Zodiac sign the Moon occupies as it travels through the sky will help set the "emotional tone" for the day. The aspects it forms ... the angles it makes to other planets in the sky as it moves ... show periods of cooperation and conflict between various needs and personal agendas -- and will be reflected in the moods and general climate of concerns in real life.

Aries is a Fire Sign. This is the quality associated with leadership issues, ambitions based on personal charisma, a fondness for seizing the initiative when choosing to act, and a reputation for showing enthusiasm and even zealotry in their character. Fire signs are the spark of heat and initiative from which all life ... and all things that are part of life ... begin.

When there is Fire Sign energy in the sky, or when a person has Fire Sign energy in his Natal Chart, these qualities and attitudes will be on display somehow. The Fire Signs of the Zodiac are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

Aries is also a Cardinal Sign. The Cardinal Signs of the Zodiac are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The Cardinal signs are direct, decisive, ambitious, opportunistic, and motivated.
