Any thoughts as to
"Can the Baby Boomers of the planet-can they be re-awakened and save the planet"

As a member of the Baby Boom generation, I see a lot of people about my age becoming more and more environmentally conscious, promoting natural living lifestyles and holistic health practices, and getting involved as never before in political action ventures ... moved by conscience to act on what we believe is necessary to insure the good of the world for future generations. Although the tactics we pursue may not always be "with one voice," I see a definite social consciousness coming alive in the land over the last several years.

Whether this qualifies as re-awakening in order to save the planet, I guess, is still an open question, but at Enchanted Spirit, we have recently published a couple of nice little pieces on ideas you might consider in efforts to "build a better world." One is more environmentally oriented, the other more socially focused. I invite you all to have a look ... or "have another look" with the good you might contribute to the future in mind.

I have also read parts of a great series of articles written by a young Hawaiian woman on concerns and solutions for the environment. I emailed her tonight asking if she could make them available again (I only have a sample at the moment) ... and we'll see if she answers. If she does, I'll let you know ... because the messages she compiled on a subject obviously dear to her heart, are worth a few minutes reading several times a week.

Finally, if in your internet wanderings any of you come across websites that you think address this issue and do an especially admirable job with their material, let me know. I'll arrange to investigate and maybe start a correspondence with the owner. If you find other articles, hints, or suggestions worth noting, I'll be happy to work with the material to make it available to all ... and if you have ideas of your own to present, those might be especially fertile as food for thought.

To the Premium Member who submitted this question, we thank you for your interest and your topic. I'll keep it in mind as one to harvest in particular when it comes to new material for the site, as it fits very nicely with the theme of a spiritual and holistic New Age lifestyle ... and perhaps together we can awaken our small corner of the Baby Boomer Generation and others to insure a safe and healthy world for our heirs.
