There have been SO many articles about exactly the right thing to do to add the Principles of Feng Shui to your bedroom to attract a new partner into your life or to strengthen an existing relationship and many of the principles are the same. After many years of practicing, here's what I suggest for your bedroom to help enhance it the Feng Shui Way:
I am sure you're all familiar with the thought process of "think in twos" and this is true. If you have a special person already and want to keep it that way, use pictures of just the two of you in your bedroom in several different areas.
If you're married and have a large wedding picture, I recommend putting it over the bed. It is the last thing you see before going to sleep and restoring for the night and reminds you nightly of your commitment to each other. Even if you have a family, pictures of only the two of you should be in the bedroom.
You may also put two like objects together. The Chinese love using Mandarin Ducks who mate for life, but it can be anything that you have two of, including just two flowers (which represent blossoms). Do make sure they are approximately the same size as you are seeking a partner, not a child! If you'd like to strengthen this cure, tie them together with pink ribbon which is the only time Pink (instead of Red) ribbon is used. It must be CUT in increments of 9" but may be tied to any length.
When something is going particularly well in your life and you'd like to keep it that way such as a wonderful relationship which you may already have, it is time to "weigh it down." That just means that we don't want to use moving objects, rather something that will keep you together and anchored. It can be something as simple as a paperweight near the objects or picture as long as you have your Intentions clearly in mind that you want to keep this wonderful relationship in place.
What about if you just haven't found the perfect person for you? Is it actually possible to Feng Shui one into your life? I've seen it happen over and over. When using Feng Shui Principles, please remember it is not so much the changes you are making but the Intention you are sending out and up that helps us attract what we'd like back to us.
Intention comes first, the Energy of that Intention follows which is why they say Like attracts Like. Your thought process and positive thinking are a large part of this; if you're quietly thinking that you'll make the changes but never meet anyone, that's exactly what's likely to happen. Stay Positive!
