Here are some more questions to ask ourselves daily or periodically to assess the current state of our spirituality.
1. Are You True to Yourself?
Do you even know what that means? For example, when you really know yourself, inside and out, and accept who you are, you begin to know what it means to make conscious choices that resonate with your heart and soul. You have peace of mind because you are living in integrity. You sleep soundly. Get the picture?
2. Do You Have Good Boundaries?
You know where you stop and someone else begins. You aren't enmeshed with anyone or anything. You say "no" when necessary and you mean it. You have balance in your life. Time for yourself.
3. Do You Attract Positive Experiences and Opportunities?
You attract, you don't pursue or stalk positive experiences. Since you are in alignment with what God/The Universe REALLY wants for you, you say "Bring it on!" Your natural enthusiasm bubbles through and people WANT to offer you wonderful opportunities! You don't resist or repel them either, because you are comfortable with yourself and enjoy how your life is unfolding.
Basically, you have faith in positive outcomes. You no longer need to control or know exactly how everything should or will unfold. You're actually living the principle of "let go and let God!".... Yummy, huh?!
4. Do You Attract Positive People in Your Personal and Professional Life?
You attract, you don't pursue or stalk people. You don't fall prey to magical thinking, wishing really hard that certain people would call you, contact you, discover you, or just simply acknowledge that you exist! You KNOW you exist and you're happy about it! People want to be around you. They are attracted to your energy, your ideas, your richness, your connectedness, your spirituality.
5. Do You Enjoy Healthy and Fulfilling Relationships?
You have a relationship with yourself and your Higher Power and you don't "need" people to validate who are or what you are! You have good boundaries so others don't worry that you will either dominate them or be quickly dominated by them. People feel "safe" around you. You treat people with respect, your honor the Divine within them, and you show your gratitude! You have high standards but you do not have unduly high expectations.
People can be themselves around you and don't feel judged. You really do know how to be a friend, a partner, a spouse, a loved one. People sense it and want to find ways to relate to you, to be a part of your circle. People feel connected to you even when they're not in your physical presence. That's pretty spiritual, don't you think?!
