I stumbled across your site by accident about a year ago and admit to being a skeptic. Over the last year or so I have been stunned by the accuracy of your tarot predictions each week. This Sunday's prediction was for the end to financial hardship. On Monday I received an offer of employment which arrived after over a year of unemployment due to illness. Not only was it a job for which I am well qualified, but also a 40% pay increase over what I was earning before I became unwell, and working in an industry I had never before considered. This not the first time you have been correct -- you've predicted major arguments, frustrations, and unexpected travel. I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't more to tarot than meets the eye!

I'm a coach and work with both extraverts and introverts, of course. More introverts are coming forward for coaching, so I thought I'd check in with the expert, Nancy Fenn, TheIntrovertzCoach to get some tips.
SD: Good morning, Nancy, I hope you're doing well today. Everywhere I go now, I'm hearing about Introverts and Extraverts. Let's start with what's the difference?
NANCY: The biggest difference is that extroverts deal almost exclusively with a world outside themselves while introverts take the world within to process it.
If that sounds a little mysterious, the best way to tell in a heartbeat is that extroverts get energy interacting with other people and with the stimuli in the environment (noise, lights, motion) while introverts get very drained by this.
SD: Drained by people and stimulation in the environment? That sounds like today's life. Does the mean there's something wrong with introverts, or something wrong with today's living?
NANCY: No, I think some people genuinely enjoy the stimuli in the environment. They enjoy trips to Disneyland, shopping at a big Mall and working out at a gym where there are bright lights, loud music and lots of opportunities to meet other people.
If they get stuck in a line at the grocery, they amuse themselves chatting with the other people in line or dial up and make a few phone calls on the cell.
SD: Okay, but what can an Introvert do if they get stuck in a Disneyland situation? (We can let someone answer for the extraverts stuck on a desert island, smile. We're interested in Introverts right now.
NANCY: Introverts on the other hand like to "go it alone"! You'll find them jogging, sitting on the back porch swing with a cup of ice tea, curled up by the fire reading a good book or maybe tossing the ball around in the park with their best friend.
SD: What advice would you give an introvert?
NANCY: Actually, I have a word of caution for introverts here. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Why not raise a little consciousness instead? Explain to your friends and family that you're an introvert. They may not know what this means and a little educating goes a long way.
Events like a trip to Disneyland are exhausting for introverted parents AND INTROVERTED CHILDREN. One of our stronger messages as introverts is, don't just go along with the herd. Think for yourself.
I have nothing against Disneyland, but I'll tell you, those kids that are throwing up, having out-of-control temper tantrums or crying jags, a lot of them are introverted kids who are miserable in an environment like that.Page: 1 2
