Last weekend I noticed the sweet, warm, radiant beauty rising from the blue Marguerite Daisies in the garden right beside my front door. There is something extra special about these delicate blue and yellow flowers.

Smiling at them I said to myself, "I could definitely go for more festive little flowers like these."

It was one of those barely noticed passing thoughts.

Yesterday I stepped into the misty, rainy day to take my morning walk. I trudged out my door towards the Panorama bluffs. The uphill walk is known to set both my heart and spirit beating to a faster rhythm.

My eyes focused on my feet as I ignited my pace. The visual radar noticed the teeny tiniest small purple flowers scattered along the corner of the lawn. "How pretty!" I off handedly thought.

I vaguely remembered my earlier flower encounter. I marched towards the bluffs.

"I want to reach a more energized state!" I intoned in my head.

Moving my arms and legs with swift strength I carried my body, heart, soul and mind towards the recently remodeled Panorama bluffs. The new look itself wore on my nerves. The landscapers had taken a perfectly beautiful, natural park and made it into a humanly formed creation which required lots of water, mowing, and is manifested in an indescribably odd, misshapen garden with as much dried up, brown woodchips as green grass.

A bench on the edge of the bluffs called to me.

There was no set path to get to the bench, just meandering swaths of grass and woodchips instead of the former jumble of naturally occurring brambling tumbleweeds, bushes and brown desert turf.

I stepped onto the humanly sculpted lawnscape pointing towards the bench. I frowned at the more-than-natural watering from the new sprinkler system coupled with the rain until snapped out of it and settled into skipping over the muddy spaces and onto the deep grassy spots.

I sighed in appreciation of the weeds which joined the lawn.

I got closer to the bench and my eyes spotted more of the same beautiful, delicate purple flowers, identical to the ones on my lawn. They also echoed my garden's blue Marguerite Daisies.

Each delicate, sweet flower spoke directly to my heart.

Beauty, celebration, warm winks and sacred messages are around you in every moment. They are not relegated to human calendars and planning. They don't only fit into a pre-scheduled time slot.

Elegance, joy and passion are in the agenda as well as in the surprising syncronicities. Laughter, intense intimacy and magical connections are in the wide open spaces and in the darkest enclosures of the soul.

They are in the un-natural landscapes and in the wild brambles.
They are in the child's voice and in the garden by the front door.
They are in the tears and in the feasting and in the drought and in the musical note.

They are in you. They are in me. They are in her, and in him, in them.

Look around you. Listen. Note the passing thoughts.
