The next time you hear the words, "I have no choice" remember this: in that belief, you are choosing to be a victim. People who are victors make choices, act upon them, and take responsibility for the outcome. When the outcome does not measure up to what was expected or planned, victorious people learn from it, get up again, and choose a different strategy.

The victim says, "See? I told you I had no choice!" underneath which is its cousin belief "and furthermore, its ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Look carefully at the lessons you want to be learning, teaching and applying to those in your sphere of influence. Orison Swett Marden, founder of Success Magazine said, "The Universe is one great kindergarten for man. Everything that exists has brought with it its own peculiar lesson."

How you perceive the lessons depends upon your innate response.

My kindergarten teacher was Miss Wick. She did not like me at all. In fact, she was a lousy teacher for me. And then I had Miss Foley, and then Mrs. Anderson. Two teachers I have written about and remembered with love many, many times. And then?

Miss Pizarro came along in third grade. I still remember when she said I would never have nice handwriting. "Your cursive "R's" will ALWAYS be deformed, Julie!" Miss Pizarro hissed at me. I can still see that classroom perfectly. I could walk into Linden Avenue School today, a building I have not been inside for 25 years and show you exactly where my desk was placed in the room.

I took the lessons she was teaching and learned to make beautiful "R's". In fact, people compliment my handwriting. My response was to show Miss Pizarro the truth as I knew it. I could have responded by creating the truth as she knew it.

Instead, even at eight years old, I chose to be the Victor, not the Victim.

What will you choose?

Make your Tuesday greater than your Monday. Make your responses to your life circumstances exponentially larger. And if you occasionally feel at the end of one day its less than or equal to the preceding day?

Show the Universe the truth as YOU know it.

Make your life beautiful. Fill it with Passion.
