Sometimes I go through what I call a "blue funk", a time with scattered feelings and wondering when this looming shadow will end. A time for me to take things slower and go within myself and have quality time with my higher power, just noticing all the beautiful blessings around me.

Sometimes when I try to force answers or push messages from my heart onto paper or my writing, it just doesn't come, but when I sit back and wait on Spirit, the words will begin to flow. When I don't know what to say to a person and they are hurting or feeling that scattered feeling too, I do the same thing. I relax and wait on Spirit/God. When I do this, the right answers and help always come.

This doesn't always occur in my timing but in Spirits.

The other morning, I got up from my bed and was trying to wake up. I sat and noticed what a wonderful, peaceful feeling I had within me. Not being used to this, especially lately, I relished in it and then being human, I asked Spirit "What is this? I am not used to this!" I then just relaxed and said "thank you so much dear ones, I feel peace."

I was quite amazed that with all that was going on in my life at the moment that I felt so calm and peaceful. I even tried to explain to friends, that I just could not put my finger on it, of "HOW" I did it, laughing and trying to make light of it, I was amazed, flabbergasted, thrilled, serene, filled with joy, and I knew then, I had grown to a point, where I could have this wonderful gift ... the gift of peace.

I had problems flying about in my life, I was busy and had a lot of my mind. I knew there were people all over the world hurting and dying, begging and pleading for help and because I felt peace, complete peace in my heart and soul, I was then able to focus on the task at hand and that was to reach out to others that also deserved this wonderful gift ... of peace.

I have friends and family that are in need and I know I can't always give my time, or what it is they need in reality, in form, but I do know I can remember to ask Spirit and the angels and energies to help them and remember their hearts and give them peace.

I also realized once again, its not knowing the "how's" or "why's" that matter, when we feel something, its just knowing and believing, accepting and being thankful.

Today, I send this gift to you and thank Spirit for it. May you feel peace always in your life and also share it with many others.
