I often bring in plants that bloom indoors during the winter or plant bulbs in pots. I love to see the beautiful blooms filled with color and love. They cheer me up and make me smile.

Perhaps baking or creating a craft and then taking it to someone who has also been shut in, by weather or by health... or calling an old friend, reading a new book or just trying something new.

I try to get outside when I can, especially when the snow is falling. Snow is so pure and white and it's always made me feel happy to see it gently falling to the ground. Each snowflake reminds me of how unique and special we all are. Even though I am a unique snowflake, when I am added to the others, I am still snow, still unique, but am part of the ONE.

When I went out on my Birthday I knew I had made a choice. I had chosen that I was going to have a great day and that the energy I was sharing with everything around me was filled with love and light. Each person I encountered that day was so nice, special, and went out of their way to be nice. I know they were reacting to what I was sharing and that truly felt great!

So, getting out for me was like a mini-vacation. I knew I needed it and I was looking forward to it. When people ask me how my Birthday went, I tell them, "it was one of the best Birthdays I have ever had!"

Sometimes we can't get away when we need to recharge and renew, so maybe we could do something out of the norm for ourselves. Loving ourselves is the key to opening what we need for us. We know us and Spirit does too. Letting go and just saying "I don't have all the answers, but I know who I am and what I am so I give it to you Spirit, right now, because I just can't do it all by myself." What a refreshing and wonderful feeling, when we know we don't have all the answers, but that's ok. We may be spirits, but our humanity is still part of who we are.

You may choose to recharge and renew by visualizing what makes you feel happy, believing in your dreams and manifesting them in your life.

I know for me, I had lost sight of some of the things I truly wanted to see manifest in my life, because of what other people wanted. By letting go and declaring I was letting go, many doors and windows opened and reopened for me and the feeling is great!

Take the time today to recharge and renew, in whatever way appeals to you! Ask your Higher Power, the angels, fairies and your guides to help you find the ways you need to recharge and renew that are best for you and always remember to say "thank you."
