Loving and Taking Care of Me

It took me a long time to learn to love myself and to take care of me. I would let people run all over me, take advantage, take up my time, or say something that would upset me. Then I learned I didn't have to do that. I began within and found the person I was missing and brought her back to life!

I knew I was in there somewhere and I just had to find me. I slowly began to throw out old, negative memories that had hurt, made me angry or caused some kind of damage to my heart. I kept working, tossing out the junk, learning to help others while surrounding myself with love, light, healing, peace and all the things that I loved.

I found as space was being made within I could fill it with all the things I desired, but I also had to learn along the way, how to do this. When something is not working in our lives, then we have the choice to learn how to change it and that is just what I did.

Loving and taking care of ourselves involves being good to us! I learned to listen to my inner self and not let others influence me, or my decisions in my life in a negative way. I paid attention to how I reacted to people and situations and if I felt uncomfortable I would take it head on and figure out why. Then I would change it.

It's like changing a negative statement to a positive one. We get what we speak and what we put out. Another words, if you speak negative you will get negative, if you treat people nasty or act in a negative way, don't be surprised when that's what you get returned.

By loving and taking care of me, I have set myself free!! I have worked through many bad habits and problems, and can now safely say I know who I am and that I love myself, because well, after all, we are in this body with the many aspects of who we are and I choose to feel and be happy and take loving care of me!
