I have recently been reintroduced to the idea that in everything a polarity exists -- positive and negative energy charges, light and shadow, yin and yang, attraction and aversion, action and inertia. Certainly this isn't a new idea. It's one that resides quietly, like soft background lighting in my mind ... but only occasionally am I really aware of it.

Of course, the same is true of goals, desires, fantasies you play with constantly and wish were true ... but which aren't ... yet ... for some reason. Sometimes the reasons why these things haven't manifested yet are obvious. We say we want them. We even believe we truly want them. But we haven't done anything whatsoever to support the dream. We haven't taken a single action to start the building process.
