As medical science, with its machines and new techniques, becomes more and more sophisticated, we are seeing a corresponding increase in the reports of what has become known as the Near-Death Experience ... NDE.
More and more, doctors are able to draw critically injured and ill patients back during those few moments of transition from life into death and restore them to our level of reality, and the accounts these people give of their experiences while "dead" add to the growing body of evidence that bolsters the possibility the spiritual essence of the individual continues to exist ... in another form, another dimension, another state of being -- one where it is as sentient and aware of its reality and surroundings as it was here in "life."
Just the remarkable commonalities people describe during their NDEs argue that something real, repeatable, even something predictable happens to a spiritual consciousness in the transition between life and death ... and beyond. (I use the words spiritual consciousness here ... because, of course, there's no way to know if animals experience the same things humans do -- but there is also absolutely no reason to think otherwise.)
