4. An Impressive Background -- A psychic's past accomplishments are often a good way to judge their potential for helping you. Look for legitimate training they've had (healing schools, courses, teachers). Ask to see reputable endorsements -- people in the public eye, business owners, journalists, or law enforcement.

Look for psychics that have been providing professional services for a significant length of time. All of these things help you to know the legitimacy of a psychic, although they aren't guaranteed proof. Don't fall for the psychics that play up their generic "Reverend Certificates," that claim to be "born with the gift," or that emphasize their bloodlines. These are all old tricks that have been used to fool many.

5. Focus Towards Solutions -- Many physics get sidetracked with petty predictions, bad news, telling you stuff that you already know, and even talking about themselves. Stick with psychics that focus on creating solutions for the challenges you have. You want to walk away from a consultation with solid direction for creating what you want. You're giving your time and money to get help, not to be entertained, dumped on, or depressed.

6. Ethical Service Being Provided -- Make sure the psychic provides a professional consultation that is about one thing -- helping you. Watch out for ridiculous promises like "get rich quick" schemes and guaranteed lotto numbers. Be especially suspicious of claims of curses, bad auras, and other scare tactics.

Even if the psychic demonstrates accuracy in other areas, don't give them money to remove curses or clean your aura (with expensive meditations, herbs, candles, etc). Also, watch out for psychics that claim 100% accuracy. Everybody has off days and nothing is 100% cut into stone, including the future. Claims like these are good warning flags to find another psychic.

7. Focus Towards Core Issues -- A good psychic will help you take your life to the next level instead of only addressing shallow details. Make sure that you get some direction into becoming more aware of yourself. You want to know the underlying reasons why things are happening and you want to get more control over your life.

This is more empowering than any instant gratification. This will help prevent you from being in the same frustrating situations a month down the road -- and having to continually rely on others for direction and support.
