How many times have you wondered why everyone else seems to get the breaks in life and none seem to come your way. You work and struggle to make ends meet while others apparently effortlessly cruise through life.

This was a question I asked myself before I realized that they were no different than me. It all came down to the way you think and your ability to take specific actions to make things happen.

There is a particular mindset that can get us to where we want to go, and obtain the abundance we desire faster than we ever dreamed. It comes down to knowing the way our mind works and then using our mind that get what we want. This particular mindset is often referred to as applying the laws of the universe to daily living.

What are the laws of universe? Simply put, they are the natural laws that guide all of nature including you. They always remain constant and when applied they are predictable in the results we can expect. There are several of these laws with the most commonly known one being the law of cause and effect. For every action there is a reaction.

The law of cause and effect is a very powerful law governing our actions. It is no use asking for more money if in our heart you believe it will never happen. After all, good things never happen for us do they!

What the mind can conceive it can achieve is a statement that has been made many time before. So what exactly does it mean?

In short, it means that unless you have the desire, faith and total belief in what you want, you will foil your own best efforts every time without fail. The science of the mind and how it works has come a long way over the last few years but we are only just touching on the surface of how to use our creative powers to change everyday circumstances by combining our mental thoughts with our true to your inner nature.

In fact it is when our minds and hearts are in harmony with each other that we experience a certain flow in our lives and good things then start to happen for us on a regular basis.

One of the things we can do to speed things up is to know exactly what we want. If you do not know what to ask for, how can you ever expect to receive the abundant rewards just waiting to come your way.

If what you desire isn't clear in your own mind then how can you expect your mind to co-operate with your body to take action and do the work of bringing dreams into reality.

It is also said that there is a price to pay for anything in life. If we are not prepared to work for what we want then we can only expect the equivalent of the effort we have applied. Put in a little in -- get a little back.

Think of it like a bank account. Put in a little we get paid a little back in interest on our investment. The more we put in the more interest that accumulates at an accelerated rate and so much more. The bank suddenly wants to know you.

This also happens when someone suddenly appears to have the lucky break and moves to that new luxury home with the latest car in the drive or jetting off around the world on that holiday you can only dream of - everyone wants to know them. They are no longer a NOBODY.

We often don't question the fact that this person simply knew what to ask then set out to get it. They are often called the "self-made" millionaires of the world. Wonder where the term self made came from? Hmm

To "get ahead" in life wishing and dreaming will not cut it. You must be prepared to work for what you want and for what you believe in. You can start today putting deposits into the bank account called life by knowing exactly what it is you want.

Today decide what you want. It is not necessary to think about the "how". This always appears when we least expect it. It has no choice.
