Calculating Your Five Core Numbers

The Three Methods of Calculating Your Life Path Number

Method 1

Add all the numerals of your Birthday together and reduce the total down until you achieve a single digit.

Example:

July 22, 1923 would reduce this way.

7 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 2 + 3 = 26

2 + 6 = 8

Method 2

Add the numbers together this way:

7 + 22 + 1923 = 1952

1+ 9 + 5+ 2 = 17

1 + 7 = 8

True, you will eventually reach the same number through either method ... but notice how you reached "8" through 2 + 6 the first time ... and 1 + 7 the second time. It can be important to use both methods because one or the other may reveal something called a "Master Number." A Master Number is a double digit number -- 11, 22, 33, or 44.

Method 3

There is also a third method which can reveal a hidden Master Number ... and if you have a Life Path Number 2, 4 -- and especially if you have a 6 or 8, try this third method to see what it might reveal. In this method you add together the day and month of your birthday to get a one or two digit number ... add the year's numbers together separate from this total ... to get another two digit number, then add those two numbers together.

Example:

July 22, 1923

7 + 22 = 29

1 + 9 + 2 + 3 = 15

29 + 15 = 44

4 + 4 = 8

But this reveals a Master Number. And in order to signify this, the number is usually written 44/8.

Your Four Other Important Core Numbers

Convert the letters of your birth name to numbers and add the digits until you reduce things down to a single numeral to determine your Destiny Number.

Example:

R + E + B + E + C + C + A + A + N + N + H + U + B + K + A

9 + 5 + 2 + 5 + 3 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 8 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 55

5 + 5 = 10

1 + 0 = 1

Therefore the owner of this birth name is a Destiny Number 1.

She has a Soul Number of 7 (the vowels in her name.)

5 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 = 16

1 + 6 = 7

She has a Personality Number of 3 (the consonants in her name.)

9 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 8 + 2 + 2 = 39

3 + 9 = 12

1 + 2 = 3

She has a Maturity Number of 7 (birth name plus birth day number.)

Birth Name = 55/1.

Birthday: March 24

1 + 2 + 4 = 7
