How to Become a "Life Buff"

Life Buff. You know, like History Buff. Film Buff. Auto Racing Buff.

As I was writing an article yesterday, a friend "listened" to me as I created. Today that same friend recommended a movie to me based on the fact that I was a "History Buff".

Me? A History Buff?

Nahhhhhh, I am a Life Buff!

A celebrator of life, past, present and future. I enjoy learning and discovering in all areas simply because it is such a blast! What is minor to some folks starts a fire in my eyes. The next thing you know, I am off and running, determining what it is life is beckoning for me to do with this new offering.

Think about that for a moment. How can you become a more effective, joyful "Life Buff"?

One idea is to take some time to ask yourself the following questions. Be sure to take the time necessary to reflect. You might want to create a special section in your journal dedicated to this journey.

Ask yourself:

What am I meant to discover?

What ways can I enrich my life and the lives of those I love using this knowledge?

How can I take this experience and prosper from it?

What are the connections, the syncronicities from this lesson?

What action or actions am I to take as a result of this lesson?

A Life Buff is one who adores living in the moment He or she sees the glory in where life leads each day. As Henry David Thoreau said, "You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, this is no other life but this."

Celebrate each and every moment.
