I stumbled across your site by accident about a year ago and admit to being a skeptic. Over the last year or so I have been stunned by the accuracy of your tarot predictions each week. This Sunday's prediction was for the end to financial hardship. On Monday I received an offer of employment which arrived after over a year of unemployment due to illness. Not only was it a job for which I am well qualified, but also a 40% pay increase over what I was earning before I became unwell, and working in an industry I had never before considered. This not the first time you have been correct -- you've predicted major arguments, frustrations, and unexpected travel. I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't more to tarot than meets the eye!

It's a little known annual day of celebration. My bet is you are not familiar with it.
This highly unusual holiday is ..."Self Love Day."
Wait. Aren't we supposed to love others more than ourselves? A more proper goal would be to have a day called "Love Others Day", wouldn't it?
Hold that thought for a moment. Allow yourself to sit with the thought and sit with your observations of it.
Love me, love others. Love myself, love some one else.
Listen carefully and allow yourself to be filled with these words.
It may be a new thought to you or it may be something you wholeheartedly embrace.
True, pure, radiant, all encompassing love begins in loving ourselves. Loving another can not happen when we withhold loving, care and compassion for ourselves. This single element so often gets missed, therefore standing in the way of one's core possibilities in life.
We diligently cross off all the items on our to-do list at work. We make sure our children get their homework done and are prepared for their quiz on Friday. We help our friends move, bake cookies for the sale, volunteer in our community: we do it all.
Or do we?
Imagine this for a moment.
What if we all began to face each moment as Og Mandino suggests: "I will greet this day with love in my heart. For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures." Imagine if we were really radical, and greeted the day with strong, clear love in our hearts for ourselves and built the rest of our loving upon that foundation.
Yes, a deep, rich, soul pleasing love for yourself which opens a deep, rich, soul pleasing love to others.
Great spiritual leaders and teachers have taught this principle.
Jesus said, "Love your neighbor as yourself.? Yes " Jesus was teaching us what he knew " in order to love and serve others we need to first love and serve ourselves. The first step is to purely and truly love you..
It is easy to simply say "the most important person to Please is me " wholly, purely, intrinsically me.?
Yes, it makes sense.
Yet the appearances and the actual actions say " I want to please everyone else first? whether that other is your family, your rival, your partner, your esteemed colleagues. Remember the adage, "Your actions speak louder than your words??
You must act lovingly towards yourself first and allow the joy from this experience to overflow onto all other parts of your life. In modeling this behavior the entire world will benefit beyond your wildest imaginings.
What if you allowed yourself to focus first on pleasing yourself " and allowed the beautify of the connection To me to be what flowed beautifully as a result.
What if you waited to rush in to solve some one else's dilemma and Only moved in when you were requested to " from a full hearted place " because it would be pleasing to you?
What if you opened yourself to saying no to you more So that I could heartfully say yes to me more?
What if you thanked yourself for each positive growth and movement forward?
What is being borne from your opening, allowing, stretching, growing into the knowing place of truly loving, respecting, honoring, and continually pleasing yourself?
Here is what I know.
In focusing first on pleasing yourself, everyone else Is then able to join me as together we live, sing, dance, glow, cavort, laugh, ring, praise, salute, smile, and echo love.
We can truly add to our prosperity consciousness and manifestation when we respect, honor and revere the person we are, right now, in this moment.
Begin to make it a practice to express your love for yourself. Les Brown said it like this: "Love yourself unconditionally, just as you love those closest to you despite their faults."
In loving, caring for, celebrating yourself, you open the door to receiving, you open the door to abundance, you open the door to prosperity in more ways than you have ever imagined.
