It was an awful punishment, tortuous, which for some horrifying energetic reason, the people involved found it to be a sport.

They were not prepared for what would happen when Androcles was sent to his "punishment."

The lion came roaring towards him " until The Lion caught the scent of his "opponent" and immediately recognized it to be his beloved Androcles. The two unlikely friends were reunited in joy.

The spectators who had waited in sickeningly festive anticipation were mesmerized by the turn of events.

Androcles was sure they would get another ravenous lion, one who wasn't his friend, and enjoy the frenzied torture they had initially desired.

Instead, the spectators caught the energy virus of Androcles and the Lion and set them both free. Not only that, their perspective was forever changed.

Which perspective speaks more of you, from day to day?

Perhaps you are you one of the frenzied fans, waiting for something horrible to happen so you can cheer and be gleeful about someone else's loss.

No: I doubt that is you, otherwise you would not be reading these words today in this place.

I am betting you are more like the spectators after they caught the energy of Androcles and the Lion.

It all comes down to three simple parts of your life. It may take some courage and some extra kindness which will be a stretch for you.

Stretching is a good thing.

Three simple steps in three simple parts of life are all it will take to begin to spread positive energy.

It looks like this " People, Projection and Passionate Practice.

1. Choose your friends and associates with utmost care. Do "your" people use kind words and attitudes? What do your words reflect?

2. Be conscious of what you are projecting. Are you "joining in" the "spectator sport" of vicious gossip or are you praising your colleagues to one another?

3. Decide what version of contagious energy you want to bring into the world and then commit to spreading ONLY this version instead of something else. Practice careful, conscious speech, action and support.

Energy is contagious. It is up to you to decide what form of energy you want to spread.
