It's amazing how so many of the Organizational and Time Management programs appear to be written for people who have already mastered or are close to mastering time control.

Also ironic is the people who could be most served by the information can not seem to translate the tips into any meaningful technique.

Along with that comes the plea: there has GOT to be a better way!!

The excellent news is that there IS a better way.

Even better news is it is a SIMPLE better way.

Add to the mix your uniqueness and gifts and you will soon be able to manage your projects, your business, your family, your personal time and your dreams.

What are the steps?

1. Agree to take "building blocks" of action and agree to stay the course. Some people create contracts with themselves to accentuate this agreement. Other people create dream boards where they make a collage of all they intend to create in their lives.

What does this have to do with managing time?

Everything! This is foundational: it gives you the "what you are managing" within your time.

If your life is about being a rodent running on a never ending treadmill of doing, doing, doing then you will arrive somewhere. It will just not be where your heart desires.

2. Clarify what defines your Accomplishment Rich day. We all have different guidelines for what will make us sit back at the end of the day and say, "WOW! What a productive day!" One hint: start with a reachable formula. If during the past week you have made 3 sales calls, don't all of a sudden declare that your Accomplishment Rich day means making 10 Sales calls. To start, your Accomplishment Rich day may mean to make 3 Sales Calls where you communicate your top 3 benefits to your clients and receive one referral.

As you have are able to create days that are accomplishment rich for you, add more components to it. With learning to manage your time in shorter chunks, you will be like the runner who is adding miles to her routine so that she can eventually make it through a 26 mile marathon.

3. Take note of your uniqueness and make them attributes. If I had a dollar for everytime I heard struggling entrepreneurs claim they have ADHD (attention deficit disorder) I would be a very rich woman.
