What Is A Life D.R.E.A.M?

Dreams originally sparked in childhood lay the foundation for life dreams. Its foundation sprouted from the seed of an idea in childhood.

When I was 10 years old, I made a list of things I wanted to do. My partial list included: Playing the organ, going to London and Europe before I was 26 years old, to own my own business, to achieve a Master's Degree and have more than enough money to give to others. Although I've achieved many goals, I want to give more to others to see their dreams fulfilled.

You may not be a list maker, that's okay. Your list is still written on your heart. The dream written on your heart, a life dream is the one you always return to when things are going well and when they are not going well.

A life dream is filled with purpose and moves us in the direction of our destiny. We can rekindle many dreams, but to rekindle a dream of purpose, a life dream, propels us toward our destiny.

Components of a Life D.R.E.A.M.

1. A life dream must be DESIRED.

There is an intense longing or craving toward a dream that promises enjoyment and satisfaction in its attainment. The seed of the desire is a truth that burns within you. Fan the coals of its truth.

Make sure your dreams are your desires and not someone else's for you. Do not deny what your heart, your spirit is saying. Right now it's only a possibility. Pursue the dream with passion and it can positively happen.

2. A life dream must be RECOGNIZED, REACHED FOR and REALIZED.

You've sensed the longing in your heart. The life dream must now be acknowledged in a definite way. Your dream is entitled to be heard.

A life dream will stretch and expand you beyond what you may have previously thought possible. When you've set your heart (desire) on the life dream, the desire will cause you to reach for the dream. As you progress on this journey of rekindling your dreams, your life dream will be reached with work and effort.

See the dream that is not as though it is. Once again, tap into your imagination to see your dream. Involve all of your senses to become fully aware of your dream. Write down what you've conceived in the pictures of your mind with vivid detail. Review what you've written and revise as needed along your journey.

3. A life dream creates ENTHUSIASM and comes with ENDORSED EQUIPMENT.

A life dream creates a strong feeling of enthusiasm and excitement. This intense drive (passion) is like an internal fire that lights the way to a greater sensitivity to understanding those things that were previously hidden. Direction along the path to accomplishing your life dream comes from internal prompting and listening to your spirit.

Keep the fire of enthusiasm burning by identifying endorsed equipment. There are specific people in your life who will sponsor what you do. They are positioned to publicly express approval for your life dream, provide you with the resources you need to fulfill you life dream and assist in making you ready to live your life dream.

4. A life dream must be APPROVED.

A life dream will receive a favorable opinion from others. Approval comes as a result of a time of preparation, execution and evaluation throughout your journey. At the end of this step, you will receive a seal of approval, a rite of passage to the final step.

Approval will come from your inner prompting, your support group, those who will benefit from your life dream and the Creator of your dreams.

5. A life dream must be MANIFESTED.

Once approved, your life dream can be manifested. Initially it is seen through eyes of faith (full assurance in the heart) and readily perceived by your senses. The truth that burned within you earlier is now a flaming fire! You cannot hide a flame under a bushel. There must be a public display of the power and purpose of your life dream.

END NOTE: A dream without purpose is like time without meaning.

To accomplish your life dream, you have the exact amount of time required to fulfill its purpose.
