Paper to Pulp
Protecting Your Money!
if a would-be thief is going to try and steal your private information. Make it hard on him. And maybe if he runs into enough pulp he'll realize it takes just as much work to steal as it does to make an honest living.

Fun with Money
Ah, a child's world -- full of magic and fun. As parents, grandparents, and other assorted relatives, a child's conception, understanding, and knowledge of money comes in many forms. There are birthday and holiday gifts, going shopping with grandma, and even helping a small child select a gift for mom and dad. While on the surface all this is just fine and good, have you ever stopped to think exactly what you are teaching this small person about finances and money -- knowledge that will last them a lifetime and either make life easier to handle or more difficult.

Becoming An Empowered Consumer
Some of the smallest businesses do a fabulous job teaching their employees how to treat their customers. Maybe it's the place you stop for coffee on the way to work in the morning. You go in, the coffee is hot and fresh, it's neat and tidy, the cashier has a big smile (even if it's really busy), and they even take the time to thank you for your business. Then there are some of the larger companies (not all). They have mission, vision and values statements on the walls. In the employee lounge area there are posters that say something about their commitment to quality and service.

Reasons Santa's Broke This Year
Santa's paychecks are nothing to sneeze at, but he stays focused on his next raise. (Yes, of course Santa gets a raise each year!) He has no idea what it costs him to live the Santa life. He doesn't track his earnings nor his spending. Santa's got to provide for his reindeer, his horse and his North Pole home - just like the rest of us.

Don't Let The Holidays Detour You From Your Financial Goals
Do you dread going to your mailbox and finding yet another credit card bill? Do you find yourself worrying about how you'll pay your bills from one month to the next? Guess what? You're not alone. What's Important Now?
We all know that doing the same old things will likely get you the same old result, right? Ok -- So with that in mind, what if I asked you what your top three priorities are for today -- just for today? I asked that one time to a client, and she said (without humor), to clean up after the dog, referee the teenagers, and try not to fight with my husband. Well, yippee.
Your answer might be to drag yourself through the day at a boring unfulfilling job, do a lot of chores that are frustrating and repetitive, or be at everyone else's beck and call and have no time for yourself. Well, yippee again. It's easy to lose sight of what you really want in your life when there's so much going on in the world -- not just the world at large, but your own world.
