6. Make an inspirational collage just for you.

Pick a theme if you have one, or just look at pictures in a wide variety of magazines with a "soft eye" and pull out any page that has an image that speaks to you.

Don't judge. Allow as much time as you need to feel like you've done enough collecting. It could take a morning or a month. Or longer. One day, you'll know "it's time" for you to jump in and do your collage.

Light a candle, put on some feel-good music, and turn the phones off. It's your time. Crop all the photos, put them all out on the floor or on a cleared-off table. Have Glue Sticks and your mat board or large piece of heavy paper ready. Do a background of favorite wrapping paper, first, if you want a cohesive look.

Start adding pictures as they call your eye. Don't glue anything down until you've had time to really "sit with" your collage. Once you feel ready, start gluing each piece.

Remember to glue the cut edges especially so your pictures don't start tearing off later. When you're finished, use glitter glue or glue glitter to it as you like. Add glow in the dark stars and moons (makes for a nice touch at night).

Add colored feathers. Add whatever little treasures you might have stored away for a rainy day. Today's the day, rain or shine!

7. Frame your collage and hang it in a spot where you can enjoy looking at it at your leisure.

Remember, this one's for you! I have collages in my bedroom, bathroom, and office.

8. Learn about your favorites...

Favorite color? Fragrance/Herb? Flower? Tree? Authors? Music? Power Animal/Totem Animal? Get behind the meaning of these things.

9. Put together a personal three-ring binder with all of your research findings.

Include information about your name, great articles, poetry, favorite recipes, or anything else that makes you smile! Put your name on it in fancy lettering. Decorate it as you see fit. I use the binders that have plastic inserts on the front, spine and back. Easy to slip photos or paper into.

I started one for my daughter, too. I use Avery Big Tab Write-On Dividers (#23179) and Avery plastic pockets for 3 ring binders (#PV119G) for easy insertion of pages. Keeps everything tidy and easy to flip through.

10. Get your natal astrological chart cast and hardbound.

Use a reputable service that can also provide you with a quality interpretation. For a really great gift for yourself or a relative or friend, get your chart hardbound.
