The Power of a Vision Board
A fantastic manifesting tool and really fun project is a vision board. A vision board is simply a collage of images and affirmations that represent your desire. Creating a vision board is a creative meditation. You focus your attention on creating a visible representation of the intention that you want to manifest. You are in the present moment with your intention and you are feeding it with your attention. Attention is love.
You can create a vision board for anything you want to manifest. For the purpose of this article let's say your desire is to travel the world. Get some travel magazines and a piece of poster board set aside an afternoon and have a blast cutting out pictures of beautiful places from all over the world and pasting them on the poster board.

Cheerleaders
Think about the people you know. Who believes in you? Who do you think would believe in your goal? Ask them to be your cheerleaders. Don't be discouraged if there is only one person whom you feel is truly safe and will give you unconditional support. Whether it's one person or one hundred does not matter. You decide how many cheerleaders you need for any given dream and which ones to choose.
Tell them your dream. Don't be squeamish or shy about it. Just say it out loud. Ask that they hold you to your highest potential and help you to not make excuses when you are afraid and want to quit. They will say yes and do it for you or you would not have chosen them to be your cheerleaders.

Dynamic Principles to Make
Your Wildest Dreams Come True
Know and accept your weaknesses and faults (we all have them), but even more so your strengths, abilities and gifts. Build on your strengths and try to minimize or improve on your weaknesses; however work more on your strengths.
An honest, objective analysis of yourself is the first step in preparing you for success and realizing your dreams. Celebrate you for just being you, a unique creation. "Each one of us has been uniquely created by God and within each of us, we have certain special "instincts" or "natural tendencies/strengths/inclinations" towards certain things.

Discovering What You Want For Your Life
I often recommend that life planning be based upon an individual's personal vision and purpose. If you are going to handcraft a life of choice, you'll need to know what you want so that you can make the choices that take you there. The trouble is that many (most?) of you cannot name what it is you want.
If you don't make choices for your life, others will. Often, choices are made by circumstances, weak foundation, past, parents. Choosing what you want in life and out of life is a new skill for many people. It may take some practice. At some point you realize that you are able to, and must, make choices for your life.

Sell Your Love
It's well documented that if we love our work, then we usually become experts at it and eventually the money shows up. Makes sense, but this is a slight shift on that concept. I want you to literally look at the concept of selling love for money.
This has nothing to do with prostitution. Prostitution lacks love which is the core of what's wrong with that industry. No, I'm talking about infusing your product with love before selling it. Love is a magical indescribable element that uplifts, nurtures, blesses, and lightens the recipient. Add it to your product and watch the profits soar.

5 Keys to a Creative Mindset
With the world moving at such a rapid pace, and technology becoming obsolete in a matter of weeks, now more than ever is the time for us to stretch our creative skills and mindset.
A creative mindset is not the same as an artistic skill; creativity is the mental phenomenon of getting ideas and finding solutions. It comes out of the blue, some say is divinely guided. If you've ever had a great idea, you know what the exhilaration feels like.

Non-Business Strategies for Business Success
Very often entrepreneurs, professional practitioners and small business owners are so absorbed by their work that they are unable to differentiate between their job and themselves, between their work and their lives. Remember that your business is the means to achieving the goals in your life; it is not your life.

Visualize Your Way to Success
Human beings are visual creatures. Our imaginations are powerful tools that can bring us to the brink of despair or create a wonderful new reality. This is because our subconscious responds to images whether they are real or imagined.
We all use visualization in our daily lives. When we read, our mind automatically translates the words into images of people and places. When we think of someone, we "see? his or her face. We also visualize every time we are afraid. We play worst-case scenarios in our minds like a reel of film. The more we play the film, the larger our fear becomes.

With the Rest of Your Life
Teenagers are not the only ones attempting to discover how to have a fulfilling and exciting life. Men and women of all ages, and that includes people in their 80s, want to have a purpose to their life. They want to do something meaningful. No matter how old you are, here are 5 ways to begin the process of beginning your new journey in life, whether you beginning for the first time or the tenth time.
What do you enjoy doing? Life is drudgery if you don't do what you enjoy. A teenager will have a different idea of what is fun than an 80 year old. (Yes, people in their 80s have asked me to help them find meaning in the rest of the days they have to live.) The older you are the more experiences you've had. Some of what you did as a kid no longer appeals to you. As a teen you hopefully have a wealth of years ahead of you to explore. Identify what you enjoy doing and then discover how you can incorporate that into a new job or activity.

How to Do Hard Things
One of the harsh little realities of pursuing a dream is that sooner or later, you're going to have to do some stuff you don't like very much. It's just plain inevitable. Enter procrastination. Dread. Meltdown. Complete inertia. But the prospect of doing the tough stuff doesn't have to stop you cold. To that end, I've been teasing out some different ways you can keep going.
That should give you some fodder for facing the harsh realities of life, and getting on with those annoyingly procrastinated to-do's. Feng Shui experts insist this 'mental clutter' keeps us small and inefficient; once we actually go through the hard stuff, and clear out our anxiety and procrastination, we thrive.

Priorities
What is the one thing that, if you got to the end of your life and hadn't done it, you would regret? What is Spirit gently whispering in your ear "Do me, do me" only to be dismissed as not as important as other things that need doing in your life? What is it that you yearn to do, dream about doing, but never make a high priority?
For me, it is writing. I love to write! I cannot not write. I have a stack of journals two feet high to attest to that. For me, writing is one of the most satisfying things I do. And yet, it's the one thing I'm likely to put aside when life's demands call on me.

SAD -- Seasonal Affective Disorder
Excerpt from
Beware! It's Time for SAD
(Seasonal Affective Disorder)
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) affects about 5% of us severely and perhaps 25% of us more mildly. Women and young adults are more likely to suffer from it. It's a form of depression that, according to the National Mental Health Association (NMHA), is a real illness with sometimes severe symptoms. It's worse in January and February, though starts as early as September.
SAD is believed to be caused by melatonin, a sleep-related hormone secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. Melatonin production increases in the dark, so in the winter, when the days are shorter and darker, production increases, causing symptoms of depression. SAD is extremely rare for people living within 30 degrees of the Equator, where daylight hours are long and extremely bright.

With a Little Help from Grace
It's the 18th century. Slave running is a booming industry for England. British ships embark on a three-legged journey loaded with trinkets, liquor, weapons and cloth. First stop, Africa. The goods are traded for the "treasures" of African tribal chiefs: native men and women captured in wars against other tribes.
Like canned sardines, the "human cargo" is packed into the bowels of ships headed to the New World. Arriving in the Americas, slaves are exchanged for sugar and molasses. Completing the voyage, ships return to England with ingredients destined to be made into rum.
