The Emperor combines the strength, assets, experience, competence, authority, dimension, and wisdom of all four Kings of the Minor Arcana into one extraordinary, literally superhuman, expression of elemental force. In this time when social preferences deem it more politically correct to honor the concept of equality between males and females, it can sound rather sexist to describe such emphatic maleness in the symbolism of Emperor energy.

But out of respect for what is truly the nature of creation, where maleness and femaleness are equally essential but by no means the same, we are really left with that as the final truth.
