What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Resolving different points of view
A new way of thinking that you reach over the next few days ... as the result of new information or adopting a different slant on a serious disagreement ... may help you become a more loving, compassionate person because of your own painful experiences with prejudice and mistreatment. It's also possible to see this drama played out "by example" in someone else's life. The important thing, though, is that you "get the message."
An extra piece of advice:
You have a responsibility to correct past injustices caused by faulty ideas or bad information. True, you may be less culpable than if the injustice was deliberate, but you need to step up and take charge of the situation nevertheless. This certainly include correcting injustices done to yourself. Perhaps those, most of all.

You have not converted a man because you have silenced him.

the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Failing to achieve victory
In the next few days, life may hand you yet another "take a cold 'tater and wait" moment of delay and frustration on some matter that may have been stalled or hanging fire for a while. Very likely this involves or affects some essential relationship or personal association in your life. The end result is ... you don't achieve what you are expecting ... or hoping for.
You may also soon face a delayed recognition of your talents and skills, a lack of appreciation for all you are and what you have to offer to a relationship -- by the very partner who could benefit most by his position in your life. In the end, you may not reach a goal you're striving to claim, a bond you're trying to build, or a level of interpersonal connection you'd hoped to achieve.
True, you may not have offered exactly what was needed, or done what was required to hold up your side of the relationship. But you may also have chosen to invest yourself and your talents in someone who quite simply doesn't deserve you. Before you beat up on yourself too badly ... at least consider that idea.
This is actually a good thing, because it allows for adjustment and corrections that will put you more on track to succeed because now you're using more of your knowledge and gifts, more of yourself, more of your common sense in choosing your important people, even.
The reward you find waiting for you further on may be much grander than it would have been without this moment of examination and new focus, especially if you're trying to play the game of love with someone who is never going to let you win.
An additional thought to ponder:
Setbacks and delays are disappointing, scary, and very discouraging. Sometimes they seem almost like sadistic taunts, testing whether your resolve and desire are stronger than life's ability to frustrate you. Maybe they are ... demonstrating that Darwinian principle about "survival of the fittest."

Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the wind the stronger the trees.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Integrity and strength
You will soon meet a situation where money and strength are combined. You may get to act as a positive financial example for someone who needs that kind of instruction ... or you may get to "put your money where your mouth is" on some matter of conscience.
Using resources wisely is not always easy. The temptation to go for the easy buck or the quick payoff can be very seductive ... and life may hand you a practical lesson on that very point in the next several days. Remember, it's possible to have "enough" and keep a clear conscience.
An extra thought to ponder:
Having enough resources to handle life's contingencies is an enormous position of power. This doesn't always involve actual money though. Sometimes the resources you need the most ... or that count the most ... can't be bought for any price.

The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.
