This is a tough card. There's no two ways around it. It generally means you've come to the end of a significant illusion and are having to adjust your thinking in a mighty big way to cope with circumstances or information that is painful, harsh, heart-breaking, or disastrous. It suggests you may be handling a significant disappointment ... either fresh in present time or in repercussions from an incident in the past.

Often the hardest part of any major crisis is accepting what happened. And it may be that something in the next few days triggers memories or questions from a past incident that need to be reviewed further ... and put to rest either more fully, again, or once and for all. We can always hope that this is one of the last times you'll have to process the consequences of this feeling.

You may take action soon in a relationship where things have been stuck for a while. Or you may be forced into a response not necessarily of your choosing, but regardless, things are not going to remain in the status quo much longer. Breaking this impasse will at least hand you a different situation to cope with ... although whether the change will be good ultimately is still undetermined.

Motives don't have much sway in this matter presently. Whether you are acting from frustration, impatience, a lack of self-control, or simply a need to get on with something different, you'll be seeing changes soon. That at least will end the stagnation and lack of movement that has been hindering you recently.

You may be acting before all the information is in on this situation -- or you may have to make some choices before all your options are clearly defined. Even so, it's unlikely that you'll make mistakes that can't be corrected later ... and just taking action may open up possibilities that wouldn't have happened in this fairly stale set of circumstances otherwise. Indeed, it may be time to do something instead of nothing in this situation, for a change. Literally.
