What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Coming out of poverty
Ordinarily, this card indicates recovery from a time of financial lack. But poverty comes in many guises ... and this energy covers territory beyond the pocket and bank account. Fundamentally, it predicts a "new take" on your material, physical, and economic situation. Often this comes hand in hand with a refreshing improvement in your personal values.
Expect a time when not only anxiety about money problems eases up, but when physical stress is lessened, when you can get more rest, when you won't put such demands on your physical body, and thus your lifestyle is healthier. As the level of worry recedes, you are better able to judge that perhaps literally killing yourself in order to have enough dollars in hand ... isn't worth the cost.
From there it's not such a big step to realizing that "money isn't everything" ... cliché though that may be ... and that personal, spiritual, and intellectual connections can be far more rewarding -- and many don't cost a dime.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to appreciate sufficiency in all things.

Our real blessings often appear to us in the shapes of pains, losses and disappointments;
but let us have patience, and we soon shall see them in their proper figures.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Partnership assets
Several possibilities exist with this energy active in your relationships today. The most obvious one forecasts an increase ... or substantial moment of recognition and success ... connected to your financial life, particularly concerning the property and other assets you own in conjunction with partners.
A more abstract experience of this card's energy would be a moment of genuine recognition regarding the "wealth" your partners and relationships represent in your world. This is a moment when the "light dawns" and you truly pause to give thanks for the bounty you and your loved ones bring to each other's lives. This can, of course, include many things besides (or in addition to) money and "things." But such a consciously felt moment can be truly special ... for everyone.
Today's affirmation:
I know how to value the important people in my life ... especially for the value they bring to me.

One of the goals of life is to try and be in touch with one's most personal themes --
the values, ideas, styles, colors that are the touchstones of one's own individual life,
its real texture and substance.

Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Authenticity
Today's message is to be who you are ... authentically, sincerely, and proudly. Show off your values. Support your ambitions and vision with the proper investment of both yourself and your money. To the best of your ability provide an example of how to live a true, self-actualized life.
Phoniness, fear, waffling, and weakness have no place in your financial management and investment strategies now. Use both your energy and your wealth to build the life you want and influence the world around you. Meet others with open-hearted generosity on common ground.
Be decisive and brave in expressing your principles ... and be ready to help others be the best they can be, too. A time of important progress is at hand, and you need the security of knowing you are valued for yourself alone by people willing to treat you with the same respect you show them.
If you feel any need to apologize for who you are, your greatest need is to change that attitude -- by either solidifying your sense of identity, or becoming the person you want to be. Both of those are worthwhile goals. In doing so, you open the two-way flow between yourself and the world ... enriching it with who you are and what you have to offer ... the resources of yourself ... and allowing it to do the same for the arrangements that support you in return.
An additional thought to ponder:
If you fail to be yourself, then who will you be? And who will be you?

It ain't bragging if you can do it.
