What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Coming out of poverty
Ordinarily, this card indicates recovery from a time of financial lack. But poverty comes in many guises ... and this energy covers territory beyond the pocket and bank account. Fundamentally, it predicts a "new take" on your material, physical, and economic situation. Often this comes hand in hand with a refreshing improvement in your personal values.
Expect a time when not only anxiety about money problems eases up, but when physical stress is lessened, when you can get more rest, when you won't put such demands on your physical body, and thus your lifestyle is healthier. As the level of worry recedes, you are better able to judge that perhaps literally killing yourself in order to have enough dollars in hand ... isn't worth the cost.
From there it's not such a big step to realizing that "money isn't everything" ... cliché though that may be ... and that personal, spiritual, and intellectual connections can be far more rewarding -- and many don't cost a dime.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to appreciate sufficiency in all things.

Our real blessings often appear to us in the shapes of pains, losses and disappointments;
but let us have patience, and we soon shall see them in their proper figures.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Disagreements
You will need to resolve differing opinions between yourself and someone else, or simply within yourself on a matter serious enough to upset you with its lack of a clear answer. Fundamentally, these different viewpoints will represent philosophies and opinions which are at variance with one another. Each may have very good reasons to support its position ... or, in a very clotted and difficult situation, you may have to choose between the lesser or two evils. (Don't you just love those moments??!!)
This card can also indicate a quarrel ... or a situation in which one has to deal with very conflicting information -- perhaps conditions in which there really is no right answer. Given your often ambivalent native personality, that can be a special problem. A compromise which serves the best interests of everyone involved may be very hard to find ... which means the diplomat in you may really have his (or her) work cut out to do in the next several days.
An extra piece of advice:
This card quite often indicates a clash serious enough to evoke fear, fear of injuring a relationship, fear of being unfair, fear of jeopardizing yourself or something you've worked to accomplish, fear of besmirching your image ... or even fear of raising a more substantial problem.
Although it also indicates this is a temporary situation where you can find an answer you can live with, you would be wise to act with conscious deliberation here. Consider carefully what you do and what you say so your emotions don't escalate further and prompt more extreme reactions than you'd have chosen if you'd taken time to think clearly.

Study any confusion and you find it is peace in an early stage.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Prejudice and flawed perspectives
You may encounter someone who is a braggart, a trouble-maker, a bully, -- someone sly, cunning, dishonest, and downright mean. This person may have connections to your business, economic situation, sources of income, professional transactions, investments, purchases, or possessions.
You certainly need to protect yourself from this person when you meet. But getting into a fight may only convince him (or her!) how valid his view of the world really is ... and remember, he's not apt to be logically argued out of ideas he wasn't argued into logically in the first place.
An extra piece of advice:
Stress, patience, tact, and clear thinking don't always come in the same bundle. It's easy to be snappish when you're overloaded and under pressure. You're apt to say something quick and hurtful without thinking ... or just to ease the pressure you feel. It's an understandable response, but that doesn't make it fair ... or right.

The meaning of things lies not in the things themselves,
but in our attitude towards them.
