What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Going to extremes
You may soon encounter competing interests, problems with pretentiousness or arrogance, the failure to understand others and their views, or the consequences of not looking before you leap. It is possible to encounter these as examples in other people's behavior, realize. You don't have to make the mistakes yourself.
Realize that centering yourself and grounding your intentions will accomplish more than continuing to push or trying to force an issue that isn't yielding to such persuasion. Life may be asking you to "find another way."
An additional thought to ponder:
There are reasons why horses pull carts rather than push them. And there are reasons why education can persuade people more easily than brute force.

A sense of humor judges one's actions and the actions of others from a wider reference . . . and finds them incongruous. It dampens enthusiasm; it mocks hope; it pardons shortcomings; it consoles failure. It recommends moderation.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Pensiveness and remorse
You may find yourself soon caught up in memories of the past ... perhaps needing to heal or bring closure to some piece of your history that remains raw and painful after all this time.
In the next few days, you may relive some personal regrets that are part of your past -- involving your relationships and the choices that you and others made regarding each other. You may well wish these incidents weren't part of your history, and yet, there they are ... still ... unsoothed, unpurged, and insistent that you deal with them.
A extra thought to ponder:
It may be that each of us harbors at least secretly the wish to be able go back, live some moment of our lives again, and do things differently the second time around. Have you made choices in the past that you would do differently today? Would telling someone that help ... either you or them?

A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Inadequate rewards
Today's theme ... and the experiences that await you just around the corner ... bear directly on the whole theory behind providing work in exchange for money so that you can then purchase the goods and services you need to support yourself. It suggests someone involved in the structures of your financial life is either being cheated by being paid inadequately for the work he or she does, or is cheating someone else by doing half-hearted and slipshod work while still charging a pretty hefty price for what he provides.
This could indicate you are working far too hard in return for a rather miserable paycheck. It suggests someone is failing to pay you what you are worth in a transaction that involves possessions, material goods, an exchange of services, etc. It further suggests you are being taken for granted, "used," or not fairly appreciated by someone for whom you provide excellent service.
It could also imply you'll discover someone has charged you "full price" for careless and shoddy work. You may learn you are very unhappy with a purchase you've made ... or find you've been ripped off. You may find yourself actively conned, swindled, or robbed.
In the worst scenario, of course, you are the one who is cheating someone else, skirting the rules, trying to "pull a fast one," and not paying someone what you rightfully owe him. So ... consider this a warning, to either keep your eyes and ears open (and, as the buyer, beware!), to insist on adequate payment for the work you produce, or to get your act together and pony up what you owe someone for what he has given you.
Whatever the scenario ... you might be wise to remember your Karma.
An additional thought to ponder:
There is no free lunch. If someone is cheating you ... you have a responsibility to help him "correct" the error. If you are cheating someone else ... remember, what goes around, comes around again. So watch out for that backswing.

Each man takes care that his neighbor shall not cheat him.
But a day comes when he begins to care that he does not cheat his neighbor.
Then all goes well -- he has changed his market-cart into a chariot of the sun.
