You may find yourself caught in a well-known pattern of problems, repeated mistakes, and familiar disappointments ... a place you know well because you've been here before. You're stuck in an old habit or pattern that isn't producing any worthwhile results, and is, in fact, having a negative impact on your ability to make progress on some essential concern in your life.

You've been over this ground before, and may even have promised yourself not to ever wind up here again ... but apparently the lesson needs repeating one more time. This time, look carefully at what you have to do to avoid these setback in the future, overcome these delays and disappointments, and get past this pothole once and for all.

Recognizing the pattern is the first step toward defining and solving it ... and if you don't do it now, sure as shootin' it's gonna come around and taunt you again. Just like it has now. Just like it did last time.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Physical and financial ineptitude

Upcoming events will focus your attention on inefficiencies, mistakes in judgment, and problems affecting your life in a relationship where someone is not pulling his fair share of the load. You may have to cope with the troubles produced by someone with no "money sense," someone who is always having financial problems, who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, overly status conscious, who wastes his time and talents ... and scoots by through mooching off others.

You absolutely do need to realign this relationship and get this energy out of your life. You especially need to do this if this description in any way fits you! The attitudes you will have to handle now place excessive and constant emphasis on physical enjoyment. You may be too focused on gaining material power -- or simply solving chronic economic crises. Or you may be tangled up in a relationship where these are the predominant concerns.

It's not at all a positive place to be. And if you simply find yourself observing such a situation ... and it's little educational message ... from the sidelines of life (in other words, you see somebody else having to work through this issue ... while you get to walk away whistling), don't get too cocky. Consider it a cautionary warning of something in your world that may be working away quietly behind your back.

Living with a constant sense of lack is deadly to the soul. It robs you of perspective. It reinforces an erroneous message that you have no right to exist and that life is "a constant struggle." It often points to a significant flaw in one's abstract values ... and in life's magical way, correcting one side of that equation will bring the results you want to see on the other.

Not standing up for yourself

Events in your professional or financial life today ... and in the near future ... may leave you feeling mistreated, victimized, overlooked, or "taken for granted." This could range from being mistreated by someone whose business you are patronizing ... to feeling you aren't being paid enough in either money or appreciation for the work and service you provide for others.

Energy is always a two way street. Themes that show up in your transactions with others are usually ones you need to pay closer attention to in yourself.

So ... consider how you may be inviting people to take advantage of you, how you may not be insisting on fair treatment in your financial or business dealings, or how "taking care of life's business" leaves you on the short end of the bargain regarding what you provide for other people. Too much of this is unhealthy ... physically as well as financially, and the sooner you get this in hand, the better -- for everyone.
