You will need to resolve differing opinions between yourself and someone else, or simply within yourself on a matter serious enough to upset you with its lack of a clear answer. Fundamentally, these different viewpoints will represent philosophies and opinions which are at variance with one another. Each may have very good reasons to support its position ... or, in a very clotted and difficult situation, you may have to choose between the lesser or two evils. (Don't you just love those moments??!!)

This card can also indicate a quarrel ... or a situation in which one has to deal with very conflicting information -- perhaps conditions in which there really is no right answer. Given your often ambivalent native personality, that can be a special problem. A compromise which serves the best interests of everyone involved may be very hard to find ... which means the diplomat in you may really have his (or her) work cut out to do in the next several days.

An extra piece of advice:

This card quite often indicates a clash serious enough to evoke fear, fear of injuring a relationship, fear of being unfair, fear of jeopardizing yourself or something you've worked to accomplish, fear of besmirching your image ... or even fear of raising a more substantial problem.

Although it also indicates this is a temporary situation where you can find an answer you can live with, you would be wise to act with conscious deliberation here. Consider carefully what you do and what you say so your emotions don't escalate further and prompt more extreme reactions than you'd have chosen if you'd taken time to think clearly.

Study any confusion and you find it is peace in an early stage.

This is a tough card. There's no two ways around it. It generally means you've come to the end of a significant illusion and are having to adjust your thinking in a mighty big way to cope with circumstances or information that is painful, harsh, heart-breaking, or disastrous. It suggests you may be handling a significant disappointment ... either fresh in present time or in repercussions from an incident in the past.

Often the hardest part of any major crisis is accepting what happened. And it may be that something in the next few days triggers memories or questions from a past incident that need to be reviewed further ... and put to rest either more fully, again, or once and for all.

Or it can bring the undeniable realization that something you've believed in, counted on, and maybe worked hard for ... for a long time ... has handed you back nothing but disappointment for your efforts.

As I said, this realization can be extraordinarily bitter ... and hearing that ultimately this is the first stage of important new beginnings may not hold much weight on balance -- for the time being.

Just as every ending signals the arrival of new beginnings, new beginnings require endings in order to commence. This is simply the way life works, in an infinitely circular and wondrous fashion.

Being caught in tunnel-vision

You may soon confront in no uncertain terms a set of circumstances involving money, income, property, possessions, your access to and use of physical resources, or your financial investments where you feel caught, imprisoned, trapped, hemmed in, and pinned down ... with no good way out of the mess.

When this happens ... look around you. If you see people who do not have this problem as a major feature in their lives, it's because they have made different choices. The chances are very, very good ... you can do that, too!!

This card suggests you may have been dealing with this problem long enough for the stress it causes to be affecting your health, physically and emotionally. Continuing to live with the problem is not a good option. Start actively implementing ways to change it, even if those might cause you more temporary aggravation and problems in the short-run.
