If and when life hands you such a moment, say "thank you" for the wake-up call (and the vote of confidence that's hidden inside) and set your aim higher. Anxiety is an interesting spice ... in small doses.

Satisfaction comes in many shades. The contentment of having done "well enough" is more common than total joy. Closure and release are part of this particular energy. But you might also take a moment to quietly assess the quality of your happiness ... and see what's lacking, what still needs work, and what could be improved.
