Closed-minded attitudes

In the next few days you may have to cope with someone whose attitude is critical, negative, and unfair. This may come in the form of an actual person who is sarcastic, opinionated, a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. You may also have to handle some incorrect or deliberately twisted information, or something blatantly self-serving to the interests of the person offering it.

This card can describe someone with a self-righteous, hateful, prejudiced, scheming attitude who shows up and spills his ugliness out for you to deal with. It can also indicate problems you have in your own attitude toward some important "general issue" in your life now.

You may have magnetized this atmosphere into your experience -- in an effort to get you to change your own mind about some basic ideas you hold which are hindering you -- perhaps severely -- at the moment.

You may need a whole fresh approach to the routine of your daily life, some new subjects to engage your interest, or just a major change of pace. Your "negative attitude" may be nothing more than the product of stress and fatigue ... but a more positive outlook on your life would be a benefit -- for sure.

There may be a lot going on in your financial life now ... involving both action and emotions. Your challenge is to keep everything "on an even keel" and detach yourself as much as possible so that you can observe "the big picture" of events. Although you may have a lot to handle, you also need to maintain your position as director and guide so that matters progress as smoothly as they can for the next few days ... and certainly as smoothly as you would like them to.

All the things implied by the word "temperance" are important now: patience, serenity, self-control, restraint, moderation, even-handedness. When the pressure is really on, those things come under serious stress ... at a time when they may be needed most. Keep your wits about you!
