In the next few days, life may hand you some evidence (or more unmistakable evidence!!) that you are abusing yourself ... or letting yourself be misused, possibly for the convenience of others. If this is true, you are, by definition, not following your proper life path, and you need to correct this grossly unbalanced situation.

You may have been ignoring a restless desire for change, which is your Higher Self's way of trying to realign you with your true purpose. If so, you would profit by listening to your heart instead of bowing to the pressure and force which are leading you astray. Surely your principles don't allow you to behave this way toward other people, and you deserve every bit as much respect as you accord to them.

An extra piece of advice:

Wastefulness and self-indulgence lead to instability. So do overbearing attitudes and a lack of faith in the values you hold and the direction you are heading. It's time to clear your head and redirect your energy. Continuing to push against the natural flow of your life will only exhaust you further ... and rob you further of the chance to be yourself.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Closed-minded attitudes

In the next few days you may have to cope with someone whose attitude is critical, negative, and unfair. This may come in the form of an actual person who is sarcastic, opinionated, a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. You may also have to handle some incorrect or deliberately twisted information, or something blatantly self-serving to the interests of the person offering it.

This card can describe someone with a self-righteous, hateful, prejudiced, scheming attitude who shows up and spills his ugliness out for you to deal with. It can also indicate problems you have in your own attitude toward some important "general issue" in your life now.

You may have magnetized this atmosphere into your experience -- in an effort to get you to change your own mind about some basic ideas you hold which are hindering you -- perhaps severely -- at the moment.

You may need a whole fresh approach to the routine of your daily life, some new subjects to engage your interest, or just a major change of pace. Your "negative attitude" may be nothing more than the product of stress and fatigue ... but a more positive outlook on your life would be a benefit -- for sure.

When the only tool you have is a hammer ... you're liable to treat the rest of the world like a nail. The cure for this, of course, is to acquire different kinds of tools -- and see problems as having many different approaches and solutions.

Going to extremes

You may soon encounter competing interests, problems with pretentiousness or arrogance, the failure to understand others and their views, or the consequences of not looking before you leap. It is possible to encounter these as examples in other people's behavior, realize. You don't have to make the mistakes yourself.

Realize that centering yourself and grounding your intentions will accomplish more than continuing to push or trying to force an issue that isn't yielding to such persuasion. Life may be asking you to "find another way."
