What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Recovering from grief
In the next few days, you may find yourself dealing with loss, disappointment, grief, and sadness -- but in a positive, healing way. Almost certainly the issue you are processing is "old news," and the information you will receive is evidence that you are healing, stronger, and better able to manage your life now, less impeded by past injuries than has been the case for a while.
You may also go through a period of reassessment, examination, and reverie regarding a time of injury and loss, and in doing so discover the strengths you gained and the important things you learned from the experience. It may not yet be enough to convince you the original experience was "worth it" ... and, in fact, that may never happen. But this is one way you can find "meaning" in something dreadful. And knowing there was meaning to something does make it more bearable. What you are really seeking is more comfort ... and by looking for that, you're liable to find it.
An extra piece of advice:
If you are recovering from a time of grief, loss, or deep hurt and disappointment, you can expect to have good days and bad days during the period of actual transition. Don't beat yourself up over either one -- not the times of renewed hurt (and apparent regression) back into sadness and despair, and not the enjoyment of good times and renewed satisfaction -- when later guilt can tug at you mighty hard.
Realize that any major trauma will change you. You will be different for the experience. Sometimes, you will be so different that clearly the person you were before the event didn't survive what happened. Not all deaths leave a body to bury in the physical sense.

A lively understandable spirit
Once entertained you.
It will come again.
Be still.
Wait.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Misunderstanding who you are
You may need to put some considerable time into re-evaluating yourself, examining your self-confidence levels, and just "adjusting your attitude" about who you are and what your role is in an important relationship you have. This card suggests you may need to put in a fair bit of work building a more positive self-image and sense of personal power.
It can also indicate you are dealing with someone else ... as a partner ... who has these problems and needs this kind of realignment and help. Of course, in order to help someone else improve at anything, you have to first have the skills, knowledge, experience, and wit to do the work better yourself. Hence the suggestion that you look to set your own house in order ... before turning your attention to someone who may need your help, too.
An additional thought to ponder:
One of the great metaphysical and psychological truths that is still gaining acceptance in the greater world is the knowledge that problems we have with "other people" in our lives are the areas where we ourselves need more work. That's why we're having the problems in the first place: discomfort is such a great attention-getter.

The secret of seeing is to sail on solar wind. Hone and spread your spirit, till you yourself are a sail, whetted, translucent, broadside to the merest puff.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Taking on the competition
Money matters often hinge on competitive situations ... and managing to be the best at what you do. The next several days will be a time to stand by what you value, to show the courage of your convictions, demonstrate who you are, and not to compromise or settle for less than you want or deserve when it comes to getting full value for your money and your work.
The advice here is to trust your experience and intuition in matters involving money, economic concerns, purchases, investments, and expenditures. Taking a stand now and making it clear what's important to you will be a key component in the moves and events that follow.
An extra piece of advice:
It's time to honor your vision, stamina, and ability. You know who you are and what you're worth. Let the rest of the world know, too, by meeting the competitive challenges you'll find over the next few days. The publicity will do you a world of good!

Although the world is very full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
