Inadequate rewards

Today's theme ... and the experiences that await you just around the corner ... bear directly on the whole theory behind providing work in exchange for money so that you can then purchase the goods and services you need to support yourself. It suggests someone involved in the structures of your life is either being cheated by being paid inadequately for the work he or she does, or is cheating someone else by doing half-hearted and slipshod work while still charging a pretty hefty price for what he provides.

This could indicate you are working far too hard in return for a rather miserable paycheck. It suggests someone is failing to pay you what you are worth in a transaction that involves possessions, material goods, an exchange of services, etc. It further suggests you are being taken for granted, "used," or not fairly appreciated by someone for whom you provide excellent service.

It could also imply you'll discover someone has charged you "full price" for careless and shoddy work. You may learn you are very unhappy with a purchase you've made ... or find you've been ripped off. You may find yourself actively conned, swindled, or robbed.

In the worst scenario, of course, you are the one who is cheating someone else, skirting the rules, trying to "pull a fast one," and not paying someone what you rightfully owe him. So ... consider this a warning, to either keep your eyes and ears open (and, as the buyer, beware!), to insist on adequate payment for the work you produce, or to get your act together and pony up what you owe someone for what he has given you.

Whatever the scenario ... you might be wise to remember your Karma.

An additional thought to ponder:

There is no free lunch. If someone is cheating you ... you have a responsibility to help him "correct" the error. If you are cheating someone else ... remember, what goes around, comes around again. So watch out for that backswing.

You may have to scramble to make ends meet over the next few days, or find yourself fretting over a shortfall in the budget, or dealing with unexpected expenses that add their own special "color" to your world.

There are several ways this energy could come to your attention -- a purchase that's more expensive than you anticipated -- and that possibly has to be deferred for that reason, a need to stretch available money over enough items to meet your requirements -- or hopes -- that really keeps you counting pennies while you spend; the realization that you've splurged more than you meant to -- or having to cut back on things you want until the income catches up with outgo again.

Another possibility with this energy is simply fretting over money -- regardless of the balance in your checkbook. That's an experience even the truly wealthy have from time to time. And finally .... since this card deals with all physical resources, you may find yourself physically tired, overworked, stressed, or even ill ... if you're not careful.

The good news is ... the energy is temporary -- instability rather than total depletion, so you will catch up on both your ledger sheets and your physical stamina again. It will just take a little recovery time.

You will soon need to pause, reflect upon, reconsider, and examine the role of money in your life, your financial investments, your spending habits, your sources of income, or some major purchase you've been considering . Put off any big expenditures for several days. And don't rush into anything that could affect your income one way or the other.

Look at things from "every different angle" ... and consider what you really want to do. Indications are you are pushing way too hard right now toward a goal that is not in your best interests. You may find some surprising ways to accomplish exactly what you want in the end, but you may have to modify both some tactics and some objectives. You won't know if you don't settle down and listen to what you are trying to tell yourself.

The area of financial resources is a scary place to experience confusion and instability ... but "frantic" is rarely a good state of mind in which to meet this problem. Of all the times you need to be calm, collect your thoughts, and focus your intentions -- it's now.
