What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Closed-minded attitudes
In the next few days you may have to cope with someone whose attitude is critical, negative, and unfair. This may come in the form of an actual person who is sarcastic, opinionated, a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. You may also have to handle some incorrect or deliberately twisted information, or something blatantly self-serving to the interests of the person offering it.
This card can describe someone with a self-righteous, hateful, prejudiced, scheming attitude who shows up and spills his ugliness out for you to deal with. It can also indicate problems you have in your own attitude toward some important "general issue" in your life now.
You may have magnetized this atmosphere into your experience -- in an effort to get you to change your own mind about some basic ideas you hold which are hindering you -- perhaps severely -- at the moment.
You may need a whole fresh approach to the routine of your daily life, some new subjects to engage your interest, or just a major change of pace. Your "negative attitude" may be nothing more than the product of stress and fatigue ... but a more positive outlook on your life would be a benefit -- for sure.
An extra thought to ponder
When the only tool you have is a hammer ... you're liable to treat the rest of the world like a nail. The cure for this, of course, is to acquire different kinds of tools -- and see problems as having many different approaches and solutions.

Changing a diaper is a lot like getting a present from your grandmother --
you're not sure what you've got but you're pretty sure you're not going to like it.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Feeling "stuck"
This is apt to be one of those irritating, listless, boring days when just nothing suits you, when you can't get excited about much, and when you look around in boredom and ask "Is this all there is to life?" You may very much need something more zestful to spark up your life, something to help you feel engaged in living again, something to hold your interest -- and lift your spirits.
It's possible you are feeling this way about one of your relationships or associates ... or about the state of your relationships in general. You may need to meet some new people to revitalize this part of your life. Or you may find one of your loved ones is feeling listless and mildly depressed -- and you become the designated confidante to help him (or her) through this emotional pothole.
Believe it or not, days like this are often what it takes to make the changes, take the action, and find that joie de vivre that seems missing now. This "blah" feeling is actually a signal of new growth ... and a new you ... about to make an entrance. But it may need a little positive help and support from you to boost it into being.
An additional thought to ponder:
Discomfort ... unpleasant as it may be ... will get your attention, and set you on the road to finding what it takes to relieve it.

Boredom is the bitter fruit of too much routine, or none at all.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Struggling with self-identity
To lose your sense of identity, your certainty of who you are and what you are about can be a frightening, disorienting crisis. It may play out wholly within yourself ... or between you and some antagonist or difficult situation in the outside world, something (or someone) whose feedback causes you to question very fundamental things about yourself.
Appearing in this position, this card may indicate that your "worth" or "value" is called into question -- possibly in ways that have money, finances, investments, possessions, or other "things" as the props. You yourself may have to reinforce the notion that you are not "the amount of money you make" ... or "the things you own." That lesson may show up ... and find an unexpected weak spot in your self-image that you need to patch.
This shakiness and self-doubt can range from something as basic as questioning your competence -- causing problems with your no-longer-solid self-confidence to questioning your basic human worth and virtue leaving you paralyzed with indecision and a deep loss of personal courage. Both impede your ability to show who you really are ... and be true to your nature in your attitudes and responses.
Getting past this time and regaining solid ground can be a challenge ... and you may face such a moment before long.
Today's affirmation:
When given feedback about myself that severely contradicts my self-image, I have the patience and wisdom to step back, consider the information, and either make adjustments ... or "consider the source," whichever is appropriate.

Be yourself. The world worships the original.
