What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Sorrow
The most obvious prediction of this card suggests the loss of a relationship you value, or an experience of deep disappointment. You may also have to handle hurt feelings, being overlooked or slighted, or finding you've been mistreated. The meaning here may range from such relatively mild moments to the seriousness of actual grieving. You may also need to work through more "junk" left over from a relationship whose wounds have not yet healed.
For whatever reason, this could be a very melancholy, difficult day ... either from real life circumstances or from the memories you have to process. Give yourself the space and gentleness to deal with whatever you find. There will be better days ahead.
An additional thought to ponder:
Not everyone you love will love you back. But offering love is never a mistake.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Physical and financial ineptitude
Upcoming events will focus your attention on inefficiencies, mistakes in judgment, and problems affecting your life in a relationship where someone is not pulling his fair share of the load. You may have to cope with the troubles produced by someone with no "money sense," someone who is always having financial problems, who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, overly status conscious, who wastes his time and talents ... and scoots by through mooching off others.
You absolutely do need to realign this relationship and get this energy out of your life. You especially need to do this if this description in any way fits you! The attitudes you will have to handle now place excessive and constant emphasis on physical enjoyment. You may be too focused on gaining material power -- or simply solving chronic economic crises. Or you may be tangled up in a relationship where these are the predominant concerns.
It's not at all a positive place to be. And if you simply find yourself observing such a situation ... and it's little educational message ... from the sidelines of life (in other words, you see somebody else having to work through this issue ... while you get to walk away whistling), don't get too cocky. Consider it a cautionary warning of something in your world that may be working away quietly behind your back.
An additional thought to ponder:
Living with a constant sense of lack is deadly to the soul. It robs you of perspective. It reinforces an erroneous message that you have no right to exist and that life is "a constant struggle." It often points to a significant flaw in one's abstract values ... and in life's magical way, correcting one side of that equation will bring the results you want to see on the other.

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow;
They toil not, neither do they spin;
And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Discontent
Today's feelings and experiences may convince you that you both need more and deserve more -- of pretty much everything in the way of material comfort that makes life worthwhile, most especially money. But the "raw materials" to make you happy in terms of economic assets, financial abundance, a rich and fulfilling lifestyle, or possibly even a life with manageable stress levels and little touches of luxury just "aren't there."
This "moment of truth," of course, is the first step toward doing what it takes to find these things ... and that first step is the most necessary part of any journey.
Today's affirmation:
I have the honesty to admit that my life's circumstances need improvement ... and I have the wit and determination to supply myself with more of what I need.

Every time I bestow a vacant office I make a hundred discontented persons and one ingrate.
