What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Releasing
The advice for life today is to prepare for endings, inevitable changes, the closing out of old conditions in order to make room for new experiences, and the unavoidable change in perspective and consciousness that goes with such a time.
Over the next few days, you will meet circumstances of necessary change as you release something that has outlived its usefulness, something that is exhausted and worn out, or something that needs to end, possibly something that is "ill" or no longer functioning productively.
It may involve a past association or a situation still hanging over from your past that needs to be ended and "released" once and for all. You've reached a place where you are able to accomplish this now ... and will profit by doing so and moving on.
A time of extraordinary transition is at hand ... and the compelling archetype of the Death card counsels you to prepare for this ... and the new arrangements that will arrive to take the place of whatever is being cast off and released.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to make wise choices about the things that need to end and be replaced in my life.

Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Using assets wisely
You may soon encounter a situation that involves financial mentoring. It may be anything from a formal meeting with an investment counselor, to an example you notice of someone managing his business and his money wisely, to an off-hand remark that gets you thinking carefully about your own budgeting, spending, and handling of money. When this happens, pay attention. You could learn something valuable ... maybe even for free.
An additional thought to ponder:
Making the most of the assets you have in your relationships is one way to ensure success for everyone ... you and your partners. There will be things each of you can provide better, more easily, more abundantly than the other. The whole concept of teamwork is built around the idea that one person can "invent the wheel" ... so that everybody doesn't have to do the work over again (and over and over again) himself.

Take my assets -- but leave me my organization and in five years I'll have it all back.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Sorrow
The energy of this card in this position combines emotional pain and profound disappointment with financial matters, possessions, or money. Its most obvious prediction suggests someone you trusted or cared for (perhaps even loved!) has harmed you over possessions, money, investments, or the handling of financial matters where you have an interest.
Another possibility with this combination is that anxiety, worry, bitterness, grief, or other strong emotions about money and finances are causing you physical and emotional harm ... perhaps even memories from the past that bring up unhealed wounds are causing you more injury in stress symptoms and psychological pain than you want to admit.
A fairly mild possibility with this card is disappointment with an investment, possession, purchase, or financial experience ... and thus the need to reorient yourself in the face of this loss. Rarely, though, does this card appear to describe the little bubbles and potholes of ordinary life. What you have to cope with in the next few days may have more to it than meets the eye.
An additional thought to ponder:
Being harmed materially by someone we have trusted or cared for brings a double injury that makes it harder to accept. You not only have to cope with the harm to your financial interests or possessions, you have to acknowledge and heal the emotional injury to your spirit. And usually recovery from the first is the easier of the two. By a long shot.

I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all;
but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess.
