What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Starting over and making improvements
Life may soon show you the need to tear down some significant structures and start over on an "improved plan" that affects a fairly substantial part of your life and its direction. The implication is that you need to rebuild in better ways before you are ready to progress to a new level of adventure and experience.
If, in evaluating the circumstances of your life, you find you aren't satisfied with what you've achieved, it's a graphic indication you "aren't finished yet" building what you need to create. You may be in a rut ... especially with your thinking and ideas on how to accomplish this goal. Try thinking "bigger" and implementing the changes that suggest themselves over the next several days. You may even have some changes in mind to make now. If so ... get on with them, and see what happens.
Today's affirmation:
I can make wise choices in the conduct of my life's path. I especially know when to stop pushing in a fruitless direction and try something different and new.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Heartache renewed
Expect to run into an "old familiar problem" in an important relationship soon. If you stop and think about it for a minute, you may already know what this is likely to be.
There's not much of a "good spin" to put on this one. Over the next few days you may have to handle deep disappointment, mistreatment, injustice, regret, hurt feelings, bitter memories, and even meanness and cruelty ... deliberately aimed your way. That fact can hurt as much as anything.
This card, in perhaps a more benign expression, can indicate pessimism, remorse, dissention, confusion, quarreling ... usually prompted by unhappy memories or something you've been through before. So while it isn't much fun this time through either, at least you've survived it in the past ... and know how to deal with it now. Either way, it's one of those moments to get past and be done with!!
An extra piece of advice:
Being hurt repeatedly in the same ways by the same person may not be such a painful surprise the second, third, tenth, eighteenth time it happens. But it can carry a lot of baggage in self-recrimination ... knowing you should have been more vigilant, more protective of yourself, less trusting. In the end, only you can make the changes that will change the situation.

True happiness must have the tinge of sorrow outlived, the sense of pain softened by the mellowing years, the chastening of loss that in the wondrous mystery of time transmutes our suffering into love and sympathy with others.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Finding meaning
The next several days may help you put to rest feelings and memories left over from an abusive, painful experience in your past -- probably involving money, possessions, income, resources, or investments. Realize that your time and energy are also resources and investments when you tally this balance. Where you have offered them, you offered something of value that may have been exploited or abused. You are still working yourself back to wholeness after that episode.
This may be a memory you have been processing for quite some time. Healing of this magnitude, after all, takes place in stages. Even years later you may discover another level of "closure" has been reached, another increment of strength gained. That, too, may be happening now.
Something that comes to your attention in the next few days -- or dredges up the past -- will help you find the "meaning" and absorb the lesson you need to take away from this sad experience. It may not be pleasant to confront this again ... just as it wasn't at all pleasant to live through it the first time. But in such moments of mending you build resilience, and the hurt fades even further.
Today's affirmation:
Emotional healing can be harder by far than physical healing.

The hardest thing in life is to know which bridge to cross and which to burn.
