Beneath the surface, this card also asks that you reconsider your own behavior and values with regard to managing money, meeting your responsibilities, and taking care of your health and your loved ones. You may find some adjustments are needed that you've either overlooked or have been deliberately putting off for a while. It's time to stop procrastinating.

The next several days may help you put to rest feelings and memories left over from an abusive, offensive experience in your past, almost certainly involving a relationship with someone you cared for deeply. This episode of further recovery may be something whose need you readily recognize, or it may surprise you to find yet another increment of pain and healing in an old memory you thought you'd laid to rest already.

Something that comes to your attention -- or dredges up the past -- will help you find the "meaning" and absorb the lesson you need to take away from this sad experience. It may not be pleasant to confront this again ... just as it wasn't at all pleasant to live through it the first time. But in such moments of mending you build strength, and the hurt fades even further.

The next several days may show you some glaring examples of a need for change in your financial life. You may find instances where unfairness, pressure, and force are way too much in evidence when it comes to spending or managing your money. You may also have to confront instances of wastefulness, self-indulgence, or uncontrolled desires that are causing you problems. It may be your attitudes and behaviors that are causing problems -- or someone else's. But either way, it's your job to make the needed corrections.

If you are making decisions under pressure ... realize how ill-prepared you may be to make objective choices. If your spending is way out of control (or someone else is costing you money that is not theirs to direct), you may need to examine just what you are trying to satisfy by using your money this way. It may be you're trying to solve a problem money really isn't going to fix.
