What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Supremacy
Today is a day to stand fast, use your strength wisely, and feel the force of your own power. Your fortitude can be an example for others ... and your own moral force and spiritual power can both do tremendous good in the world and draw temporal and Karmic rewards to you for your efforts.
This is a time to be steadfast, have faith in yourself, demonstrate the resolve and courage you have in abundance, and use your talents in the most positive ways you can find. The energy at your disposal combines will and effort to create effective action. It is the kind of force against which no opponent can prevail ... and it is your asset now, something you have built, nourished, shaped, and claimed. Be proud of yourself and use it well.
An extra piece of advice:
Having Strength on your side allows you to meet issues directly, undertake challenging projects, resist temptation to take the easy way out of whatever challenges face you, and apply your own balanced judgment and principles to the experiences you meet. One of the greatest advantages of Strength, of course, is the ability to act with control and purpose, not react out of surprise or desperation.

It is difficult to make a man miserable while he feels worthy of himself and claims kindred to the great God who made him.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Heartache renewed
Expect to run into an "old familiar problem" in an important relationship soon. If you stop and think about it for a minute, you may already know what this is likely to be.
There's not much of a "good spin" to put on this one. Over the next few days you may have to handle deep disappointment, mistreatment, injustice, regret, hurt feelings, bitter memories, and even meanness and cruelty ... deliberately aimed your way. That fact can hurt as much as anything.
This card, in perhaps a more benign expression, can indicate pessimism, remorse, dissention, confusion, quarreling ... usually prompted by unhappy memories or something you've been through before. So while it isn't much fun this time through either, at least you've survived it in the past ... and know how to deal with it now. Either way, it's one of those moments to get past and be done with!!
An extra piece of advice:
Being hurt repeatedly in the same ways by the same person may not be such a painful surprise the second, third, tenth, eighteenth time it happens. But it can carry a lot of baggage in self-recrimination ... knowing you should have been more vigilant, more protective of yourself, less trusting. In the end, only you can make the changes that will change the situation.

True happiness must have the tinge of sorrow outlived, the sense of pain softened by the mellowing years, the chastening of loss that in the wondrous mystery of time transmutes our suffering into love and sympathy with others.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Getting what you want
This is considered one of the happiest, most positive cards in the deck. Some texts expansively promise that it means "all your wishes come true," but that's perhaps a little extreme. It does, however, indicate a time of emotional integration and fulfillment, contentment and satisfaction, the ability to enjoy what you have and what you've created. And, yes, it also suggests that something you've wanted for a while ... becomes yours! Make a wish. Take action to achieve it. And let yourself be happy.
Today's affirmation:
I can have what I want ... and I enjoy what I have.

Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.
