What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Examining inner values
You may need to examine your conduct in a situation -- or perhaps the overall condition of your life in general --that wants adjustment. You may need to confront circumstances that are too one-sided, too impractical, too "parasitical," where people may be taking gross financial advantage of others -- possibly you (!!) as either victim or perpetrator, where someone is taking too much for granted in the ways others must work to provide for him and his comforts, and who is unacceptably wasteful of time, energy, and other resources.
Chances are you know who this person is ... or the issues this energy describes, but it also wouldn't hurt to consider your own conduct and see if possibly you are inviting this experience into your life, either though your own relaxed and overly tolerant attitudes -- or by doing this to someone else, yourself.
An additional thought to ponder:
You might also consider whether you are doing too much for someone who should be taking better care of himself ... or possibly whether you need more compensation for the value you provide.

No values are effective, in a person or a society, except as there exists in the person the prior capacity to do the valuing, that is, the capacity actively to choose and affirm the values by which he lives.

the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
A bold new idea
Expect a new viewpoint, new philosophical perspective, or an exciting new concept about love, relationships, your partner(s), and perhaps yourself and your role in this area of your life to arrive soon.
This is the kind of moment that shifts the way you think, the way you view the world, the way you see yourself and the greater context of your life, giving you a glimpse of a much "bigger picture" than you had before. You may understand your partners and your relationships more clearly than ever before. You may also see new courses of action to take ... and new values to hold.
Such moments, when you come face to face with a greater truth can be contained in even the smallest occurrences. But the power of their message can stop you dead in your tracks. When they happen, they are called epiphanies. Literature is full of them. So is life itself, when you know what to look for. They are always marvelous to receive. Literally like gifts from God. Such a moment is on its way to you. Prepare to welcome its treasure.
Today's affirmation:
I recognize the power of thought, opinion, and perspective in shaping the relationships I have in my life and my ability to relate to my partners.

If you're proactive, you don't have to wait for circumstances
or other people to create perspective expanding experiences.
You can consciously create your own.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...

Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Boredom
This "blah" feeling -- a familiar one when "nothing special" is available -- when you are just not happy, not motivated, not enjoying yourself, and not exited about anything (!!) will settle into your economic situation for a few days. This can indicate a range of reactions ... from being dissatisfied with your sources and levels of income, but not seeing a good way to respond to this feeling, to being unhappy with "things" in general, and learning that "buying stuff" doesn't help lift the fog.
An additional thought to ponder:
This feeling is often a strong signal you've "tapped out" and exhausted something in your economic situation and now need new sources of supply and nourishment. Consider what it would take to have excitement and a sense of joy restored in your financial world. Sincerely put your mind and efforts into finding ways to supply this for yourself.
You need to find your creative center again. You may also need new people and new scenery. You certainly need to find "what makes you happy" inside yourself ... which may require modification, if not a whole new set, of your abstract values.

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
