What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Recovery
It may be time to heal and "find meaning" in something you've experienced recently that involves loss and disappointment, betrayal, ruin, and profound despair -- probably on a matter you struggled hard to achieve or where you were quite personally invested. This card implies exhaustion as well as injury ... and suggests you may have been through substantial stress in this part of your life. You may have had to "call it quits" on something you had high hopes for once-upon-a-time. Doing so may have been nothing short of traumatic.
At its worst, this card suggests you may have been badly mistreated, led on, lied to, crushed, or exploited by someone you trusted. Its ugliest energy suggests you've been "stabbed in the back." But there may simply have been serious adjustments in lifestyle ... or objective. You may have had to reluctantly accept "new information and viewpoints" about something you seriously misunderstood.
The reversal of this card may indicate this situation is in the process of healing ... or that most of the injury is "on the inside" rather than raw and oozing out in public. But even if it's not as galling as it used to be, even if you've had some time to get over what happened -- chances are it still hurts a lot.
However, it's now time to learn to trust life again ... and move on, in the aftermath of crushing defeat, sorrow, and despair. It may take a while yet for you to recover from this, personally, intellectually, financially ... and emotionally. Revelations such as this one suggests aren't easy to absorb. And you need to still be gentle with yourself -- and cautious. You're not as strong yet as you were once ... and you'd do well to remember that for a while.
Today's affirmation:
I know how to take one day at a time ... and stabilize myself before trying to take another step in any direction.

Out beyond ideas of right-doing and wrong-doing there is a field. I will meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Getting centered ... again
Over the next few days, you'll shake off that "blah" feeling that's hindered you recently and feel reinvigorated about life and the interests it holds. New goals and new ambitions may catch your fancy. You'll realize you are ready for new challenges and relationships -- or ready to resume past ones and renew old friendships. Either way, you'll wake feeling revitalized, refreshed, and eager to engage yourself with life again.
As you open up to your important people and your own feelings again, you may need to improve some of your existing associations with an honest assessment of where they're going, what value they have for you, and whether you find them worthwhile any more. Such an examination can be interesting ... and honest answers may tell you why you've been feeling down in the dumps about people in your life lately.
Today's affirmation:
I can look honestly at my relationships, judge what needs to be corrected ... and what needs to be tossed, and improve what exists to my own advantage.

Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Being happy
It's time to trust your instincts regarding your financial future. Money may not buy happiness, but there are definite connections between financial safety and levels of emotional satisfaction. On the one hand, you may need to concentrate on enjoying what you have, on being at peace with the support and comfort you are able to provide -- even though you may also acknowledge a need to both have more and give more in terms of money and physical comfort.
On the other hand, you deserve to enjoy the work you do to support yourself, to hold a genuine attitude of love and trust regarding your sources of income, to be able to express yourself honestly, and to experience integrity between your emotional center and the practical responsibilities you must meet. If this is missing from your life, it's time to correct the problem.
An additional thought to ponder:
Money, joy, safety, and work are meant to be part of the same overall experience ... not mutually exclusive concepts.

Use what talents you possess;
the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best.
