What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Instability
You may have to scramble to make ends meet over the next few days, or find yourself fretting over a shortfall in the budget, or dealing with unexpected expenses that add their own special "color" to your world.
There are several ways this energy could come to your attention -- a purchase that's more expensive than you anticipated -- and that possibly has to be deferred for that reason, a need to stretch available money over enough items to meet your requirements -- or hopes -- that really keeps you counting pennies while you spend; the realization that you've splurged more than you meant to -- or having to cut back on things you want until the income catches up with outgo again.
Another possibility with this energy is simply fretting over money -- regardless of the balance in your checkbook. That's an experience even the truly wealthy have from time to time. And finally .... since this card deals with all physical resources, you may find yourself physically tired, overworked, stressed, or even ill ... if you're not careful.
The good news is ... the energy is temporary -- instability rather than total depletion, so you will catch up on both your ledger sheets and your physical stamina again. It will just take a little recovery time.
Today's affirmation:
I know how to spend money wisely, how to care to myself physically, and how to tell the difference between a real crisis and a momentary bubble in the pipeline.

Every good act is charity.
A man's true wealth hereafter is the good that he does in this world to his fellows.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Being "too nice"
Over the next few days, you may confront some serious "unlearned" lessons, attitudes and choices that are undermining and subverting you, ways in which you are letting others take unfair advantage of you -- perhaps with the best of intentions, and the necessity to change your behavior ... because your present tactics aren't serving you well at all.
This could well be a pattern you've dealt with before, an "old familiar mistake" that you need to correct in your life again. With any luck you'll finally get past this point and stop the repetition.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to recognize my own worth, insist on fair treatment, and defend myself against abuse.

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy.
Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Dealing with attitudes that are petty, narrow-minded, and manipulative
You may encounter a very insincere, deceitful, gossipy, two-faced, or embittered person -- or a situation where these qualities are clearly on display, in some matter involving money, property, possessions, financial arrangements, investments, or income. Sometimes this energy comes disguised as someone who smiles to your face ... and then stabs you in the back. If your intuition tells you someone is not to be trusted, pay attention to it!!
It's also possible you may soon have to deal with someone who is jealous, impatient, rigid, insensitive, and controlling. When it happens ... watch how easy it is for this person to provoke these same attitudes and behaviors in you.
In a less positive scenario, this card warns that these attitudes in you may be causing you financial problems -- possibly without your realizing it -- and certainly causing you unnecessary stress and fatigue.
An extra piece of advice:
If someone is treating you unfairly ... being hateful, overly critical, too demanding, and giving you no respect or credit for who you are or what you do, you have no obligation at all to put up with it. Tolerating abuse is a form of mistreating yourself.

Anger is a symptom, a way of cloaking and expressing feelings too awful
to experience directly -- hurt, bitterness, grief and, most of all, fear.
